MMR system sucks
Like who is MMR actually for? Another thing to add, but do you think that the recent MMR system from August of THIS YEAR(idk why I'm not seeing many posts about it) would be good?

It's for players who want the game to be balanced. There's too much whataboutism with the current rank system, and this MMR system will give us better data. Once that's in, the devs can begin balancing around it. Then all players, competitive and casual, will reap the benefits of a more balanced game with similarly skilled opponents/teammates.

I wasn’t a huge fan as killer, as survivor it was kinda nice actually having decent teammates.
Killer I was getting very experienced survivors and SWFs which sort of forces you into playing the killers who can handle those squads instead of playing the killers you like; which sucked since it’s great that all killers are red rank viable at the moment. “Play this handful of killers or automatically lose” is literally going back to 2016-2018 DBD balance

It forced me away from my fun killer build in exchange for meta perks & addons to keep up, it was agonizingly sweaty for a Clown main

That’s until you realize that DBD gameplay with 4 experienced survivors is usually hideous as killer. It can really feel more like a job than a game.
And let’s be real here, this game isn’t getting balanced ever. 5 years and we still got sooooo many broken things and they keep releasing more. 5 years for an Iri head nerf, just think about that. I think anyone decent at balancing should have realized that was broken within about 5 seconds.
I also didn’t like the SBMM introduction to call of duty. It was nice having some variation in the games. Some games you could do really good, some really bad, etc. SBMM made it so every game pretty much everyone just gets a 1 K/D and it’s kinda stale and predictable.

Wise words.
If the MMR system is enable, we will lose the variety of killer pool. People who plays killer for fun will switch side. Therefore, the queue time will be much horrible then.

The idea behind that test was to make people match against similarly skilled players, no matter what their current ranks were. And from my experience and for what I read, it served it's purpose. Some liked that and some didn't. As an average player, it was pretty good for me.

Yes i liked it because it allowed me to play killers who i don't usually play thanks to each killer having it's own MMR. Personally i think it should happen because it's better than ranks at least.

MMR Last year was total garbage, but this year's test -- I see a huge improvement. This is good they took the time to test and improve the system.

My last 2 games have been against a addon less level 20 Trapper with one or two perks ffs. Embarrassing easily. I'm rank 16 atm but I get to 12 for every reset and then back to 16/17. I don't want rank 20 trappers who litterally played as if they'd just put the disc in :/

For people who do not want to play with red rank clowns, basically. I do not want those rank 1 anywhere near me, they can play with like-minded individuals.

Agreed on every match feeling the same with mmr. For me, playing survivor during the last test was "hmm, I wonder what cosmetic the slowdown perks, alchemists ring Blight will wear this time".
And yep, the devs have already said and proven they don't care about balance. I don't get why people think mmr will even function in this game, or that suddenly the devs will have an epiphany about balance.
