Console controller input issue

For some reason my controls are all over the place. The cursor in the main menu moves on its own at times, even if I move my analogue stick just slightly, and my buttons are unresponsive sometimes, both in the menus and in game. The game is literally unplayable for me.

For the record, this only seems to happen on dead by daylight, and works fine on other games.

Does anyone else experience this? What can I do about the issue?

    This has been an issue for me on PS4 for as long as I’ve had the game. It seems random to me, but happens all the time. Worse when the killer’s connection is bad.

    Have you tried a new controller

    ive never had this issue.

    Happens to me in DBD only too. Randomly the cursor moves on its own in menus for no reason other than to be another console issue.
