    On pc I get frame dips even on a 3080/3900x it's crazy.

    It needs both. PC already has this option. Even with optimization, an option to downgrade graphics could be useful to an individual from time to time, based on their internet.

    If you're trying to make the argument that a graphical downgrade does not fix optimization issues, I agree with you. It is not a substitute for the optimization console requires to function. This is not an either/or. It's a both/and. And it's important to remember that this is optional, and would only affect the individual player who chose to implement it.
