Things I feel should be added into the base gameplay

For survivors I feel like Borrowed Time should be a base kit. Right now if you’re not with a swf you’re pretty much compelled to bring anti camping and tunneling perks and I feel like this would remove a lot of those pressures. Make the killer hit on the recently unhooked survivor apply deep wounds, mangled and heamorrhage but give the survivor a longer speed boost and rework Borrowed Time to prevent those debuff effects when hit.

For killers you pretty much gotta bring a perk that buffs generator regression. Regular kicking is useless in most situations. Make kicking cause a flat five percent drop in progression instantly, Pop keeps its 25 percent as a buff to that effect of course but with a assured regression in generator progress there’s a lot lots pressure to use gen regression perks. It also rewards gen pressure and makes survivors have to consider other generators rather than just touching it for a second and instantly stopping the already weak regression

    BT should not be basekit without removing unit collission, at minimum.

    But even then, I'd much rather have DS on baseline than BT. The latter seems to more strongly encourage people to make hook bombs, and one bad unhook loses the survivors the match. I don't want to train survivors to make unhooks two seconds after the hook any more than they already do.

    If borrowed becomes base, which it should... Ruin needs to become base, as it should. Well, a nerfed version of it, anyways. Maybe 100% regression and if you kick it, it doubles.


    No idea what they would rework Ruin into. Don't care. The game would be a lot better with a common sense tunnel counter and a common sense gen defense mechanic.

    No and no. None of that. BT should not be base kit. You should be protecting your unhooks. You should not be unsafely unhooking.

    Baseline BT (or DS or Ruin) will severely dilute the game.

    Agree with the kicking gens problem. Shouldn't have to run dragon grip to stop gen tapping. Kicks should cause more of a insta regression. Couldn't make it a perk idea. 3 tokens, first gen you kick regresses 12%, second 8% third 6% or something like that.

    If everything becomes base kit, what's the point of having perks? I mean, I'm a solo Q Survivor, I know how frustrating it can be when someone is being chased but still unhook you.

    No, BT is a perk and it should be a perk. Base kit shouldn't give too much advantage.

    But I'd like BT to be personal instead of applying to someone else. Like, you got the Endurance effect if you get unhook. So everyone's free to run it to save their own life or taking the risk not having it.

    (But a personal BT would be too OP with Deliverance?)
