DC penalty is harsh

why screw your team? stop turning things up side down, the reason why people dc is cause of extreme behaviour that starts with killers, fix that and the dc would be less of a problem

Like what exactly? What do killers do thats so problematic? Using certain killers? Tunneling and camping? Using 4 gen defenses? Because thats part of the game but I'm curious on what you think is bad behavior and how dcs are justified.

indeed tunneling is one of them, killers that dont let you play the game and go for speedruns...those i dont DC but happens a lot and have full respect for that...its funny that only on this forum a lot of comments are pro penalty, but forums that are not related to bhvr are 80% against this bs rules.

Too bad the game doesn't know the difference between my power going out or bad internet connection though... And dang I didn't know 2 D/C's was a 30 minute timer? That's a way too harsh of a timer for this game lol save that crap for CSGO

keyboard issues...sorry

and keep in mind that most survivor main can handle a few rounds with [BAD WORD] killers...but thats not always the case, sometimes you get 20 in a row and the result is that you [BAD WORD] on the hook or DC.....
the things that some killers say, its my job? ok so now your getting paid to ruin a game? its your objective as a killer to make sure that 4 survivors dont enter that gate, that they die in the end is ok....but not before ever touching a gen, its a game and a game can be good fun for all...win or lose.....everyone should know by now that certain gameplay is just pure toxic and not how we should play with eachother....no mather what you all say, its not wanted behaviour

DBD is a multiplayer game. When you login to play you are interacting with 4 other people who also bought the same product. Multi-player games have rules and guidelines to protect the community and keep the game healthy.
By buying DBD you are agreeing with the rules and community guidelines. It is as simple as that. Disconnecting multiple times (for whatever reason) is against the rules. People are not sheep because they are following the rules. They just want to play a game in peace.
We have seen first hand what no DC penalty does. It makes this game unplayable for everyone. Without a DC penalty no one would play because what is the point of a multi-player game if people dip out every match?

i never agreed to these rules, i was forced and thats a big difference....and stop with the bs that games are unplayable....killers make some games unplayable, and thats why people dc, and even so...if on or 2 or even 3 DC...well you just move on to the nxt game, cause thats how it works....that you or some others here have problems with unplayable games....not my problem sinds its not your or bhvr's problem that a lot of games are unplayable because of toxic behaviour

If you didn't agree to the rules, why did you click to agree?
7 -
and without a DC penalty you would force killers or even toxic survivors to think about if they want to continue with there behaviour...cause if no one stays in your game...more arguments i can crush?

omg....never mind

Funny that only people who DC constantly are whining about the penalty. Hm, I wonder why.

You literally can't play the game without other people.
We all owe each other 'a game of dbd' at the very least.
There are some... extreme outliers, when your opponents take the game hostage for example, or make it unplayable. But for the most part there's little reason to DC.

Your not crushing anything Your proving people's points on why there needs to be a DC penalty

i pressed i dont agree, but then the game wont work....get it now? forced to agree to use the product i paid for...

This is a competitive game... NOT a casual game

You've done nothing but just talked with your feelings. You're not forced to play the game you choose to play the game you choose to accept or reject it. Reject it and see what happens. Those people bought the game they play how they want even if its by tunneling and camping. Yea most streamers get tunneled down but most like tru3 don't dc. Other streamers abuse the no dc penalty to dc against certain killers. The biggest "sheep" are the ones who say they aren't sheep btw lol. But at this point you're jsut baiting.

You chose to agree when you bought the game.
You're not being forced to play DBD.
You are not entitled to play an online game without adhering to it's rules.
3 -
Yes, that's how it's supposed to work. You don't get to play if you don't agree to follow the rules.
3 -
i wont even respond to that...but its sad what your saying.
0 -
Not really. Generally people aren't allowed entry into places if they straight-up admit that they refuse to agree to the rules put in place.
4 -
Why would i buy a new system when the problem is the game not the system?

Can a mod just close this already? At this point it is just 2-3 trolls encouraging disconnecting and generating strife.

After cleaning up some comments, going to lock this thread and remind everyone to stay civil and respectful when commenting or disagreeing with others. Also a reminder the promotion or endorsement of Unsportsmanlike Conduct is against Forum rules as well, please be mindful not to do so.
As already mentioned, when you agree to a game's EULA, you agree to their code of conduct, no different than when you agreed to join the Forums, you agree to adhere to the Forum Rules. Unsportsmanlike Conduct, such as DCing from a match, is a break of the rules in which you agreed upon.
