Killerless Games?

Over the past few weeks I've had a handful of matches that seems to not have a killer on them.

I use Dark Sense as a perk so I get an idea of where and who the killer is once one gen is done. But there have been maps where this hasn't shown anything. Fair enough it could be Ghost/Michael or the Pig/ Wraith who are cloaked, but normally you will see them at least once when a gen has been done. On these matches I dont see anyone for any of the gens.

Add to that there is no opposition. The gens get done really fast and there doesn't seem to be a Terror radius anywhere.

I've just finished a match up in Ormond and I made the decision to literally run everywhere whilst someone was doing the doors and I didn't find a killer anywhere.

Has this happened to anyone else?

The other guy is right its prob a wraith deranking but sometime when survivor bring a map offering or key the killer will just wait the match to be over because he know he will probably lose he just want to game to be over asap

Could also be an enviromentalist wraith, they're very wraith meme wraiths that just stay cloaked the entire game and watch what survivors do. Its a bit hard to notice they're around if you think there isn't a killer in the match.

    Wraith.

    The official killer for deranking.

A stealthy killer is used to prevent the survivors farming points from a chase and bold points from terror radious extending the match.

Except no one is saying that. You are making inane assumptions/proclamations. Would a killer like a game if every survivor just afk'd? I don't think so.. at least I know I would be irritated af. The point is that AFK killers almost always result in either barely safety piping or at higher ranks - de-pipping because there are 2 emblems that get nothing for that match. Seriously.. instead of being all "boo hoo survivors this and that" think of it from a logical and unbiased point of view...if you can.

Can't blame em. It's so easy to pip as killer you wind up with impossible games way before you're ready for them.

I almost want to give it a try, just see what they do uninterrupted...

Without video proof and an essay on their support site, probably not.

It takes like 30 minutes to report someone, so I don't bother with it anymore. If someone goes AFK in a corner all match, go for it.

I had one where the killer a wraith afked the entire match it was only at the end when we all started looking for him and I found him that he went after us and hooked someone.

He literally spent the rest of the match invisible and not doing anything I had to use my spine chill perk just to get an idea of where he was.

No, we need killers that play "fair", that dont tunnel and dont camp, and are at an equal skill level than the surivors. That makes for good matches, and then, i dont mind if i get killed or escape, because you get fair matches. However, there are killers that go out of their way not to tunnel, and dont camp. Those games are close, you get at least 4 gens done, while the killer has around 8 hooks, its lategame and still can go both ways. That are the games i want, and thus the killers we need.

However, in most cases its more a matter of matchmaking, but mindset of killers and survivors play a big role too.

Maybe its because i come from the time of lan parties and boardgames, you know, where you play face to face, and if you play scummy, you will have to play alone. Thus, i respect my gaming partners, but expect the same.

Okay, but can survivors also play fair? Like, when 3 gens are done and the killer has no hooks, everyone should get hooked one time each and after that the game will continue again?

    No?

Then killers don't have to play by your rules too. Also, everyone has a different perception of camping. For some the killer is camping when chasing a over altruistic survivor at the hook, some say the killer needs to get like 3 maps further to get a survivor to unhook in peace.

Fact is, people payed for the game so they can play however they want. If you like it or not. Your fun is not the responsibility of the killer, neither are the killers have to expect you care for their fun.

They could more or less fix this by kicking players who don't move their character after a certain amount of time - with Survivors getting a longer time limit than Killers/losing collision when they have one or more crows so you can't grief people by bodyblocking until they get kicked.

This happens once in a while and it's always Wraith. And I always regret not using Plunderes + Ace in the Hole 😄

I love going against basement bubbas who protect their sacred chest yet still manage to 3 kill my teammates it is always hilarious. But I do understand most people enjoy chases more then gens it just sucks when you go against top tier players constantly <No joke I got four matches against p3 bloodied players all with toolboxes, keys, and flashlights made me stop playing demo for a while>

So because a few do it.. then everyone must want it and thus it is ok?? Dude grow up.

Some killers have literally asked for bot survivors as well - does that mean all want them?? Ugh - I swear the ability to use logic on these forums is almost non-existent in some posters. These inane exaggerations do not prove anything - except that people have no idea how to actually discuss topics.

BHVR please add a frickin ignore button already to the forums so those of us who actually want to discuss topics in a rational manner can without all the idiocy and hyperbole.

Since the answer has already been given, i'll just drop a tip.

If you're lacking in BP because of this happening, pay a visit to the Basement if you have the time. (Depends on if the other Survivors immediately activate EndGame Collapse.)

Free Boldness BP down there. It's slow but it's risk-free & better than nothing.
