Ranking issues - game not accurately updating rank in lobby

I was playing a match today 8/28/2021and I noticed that when I completed a match my rank went up based on my performance. However, looking in the right hand side of my submitted photo you can see that my ranking is showing as being rank “9” instead of “8”. When I play I am on Xbox, and am not sure if this is affecting players on other platforms.
This issue has been consistent throughout my playtime today.
