So bring a perk or a map to deal with it? You have 16 perks between you, you can't dedicate 1 of them to doing totems? Hell, bring Inner Strength so you can heal when you do them too.

See! There you go again....people are talking down on NOED players making comments like "baby killer" "baby perk" "get good" and you honestly think there nothing wrong with that? Im defending both myself and other killers that "may" or still do use it, thats why i came in this thread! Trying to twist it around again or ignore the fact that you said those things or think its ok until someone calls you out on it.

Try again my friend. I'll be the bigger person and end it here. Im not responding to you anymore after this.

**So go ahead, insert insulting comment, like all kids do!***

Don't answer to me i don't really care tbh. you can defend whoever you want but I don't agree with your opinion, that's my right and I'm not ignorant because I've seen many instances of how bs noed is.

I'm glad that a big streamer like Otzdarva started to expose this issue so maybe the devs will be aware with it. have a good day.

Good luck finding 5 totems in the new Raccon map. I use Counterforce every game exactly for this reason and it's IMPOSSIBLE to cleanse the furthest totem from you on that map. I sincerely hope it gets the same treatment as hawkin's does in the future.

Excluding that map, counterforce helps me to easily find all killer's totems after finding one, especially when it's a blight with undying + ruin (very common at red ranks).

Oh my God, I love reading these comments with people assuming that the games are just gen-rushing like they participated in those games. Killers are just defending other killers like they know how they play and that noed just gives them a "small" boost at the end of the game. These arguments are so over-used and explained over and over again, but they are still used by people that can't understand.

I wouldn't have made this post if I didn't use Counterforce every game from the release. People don't use it often, so it's good for the team to have one using it.

I'm not gonna bring a perk when the killer may not even have NOED. I have other perks that are way more useful.

I play both sides and I just don’t see what the issue is. I was just sacrificed by a Spirit using Noed. First time hooked in the trial. All the ‘teammates’ ran out the gates. I died. So? I had a good game and then the tide turned. It didn’t make me cry myself to sleep.

They brainwash players into making stupid plays. Which would explain why they win so much. They’ll say “Items are for noobs” and “Don’t break totems it wastes time” on one stream. Then you see them using Ruin/Undying as killer, and using toolboxes as survivor the very next stream! After someone paid them $5 to do it. It’s laughable!! If you want to “win” you do the exact opposite of what players are telling you to do, or not to do! They complaining because you outsmarted them, and took advantage of the key situations! Had they won I guarantee they’d talk big, and belittle you. Fake GGs, and trash talk. 😂

If you feel like killers are running NOED too much… You bring a MAP that can track totems..! Even apply the bead to create a light signal to tell my team where the totem is (If the killer chased me away from it)!

You know they’re being cheap by playing this way. Yet you walk in these trials back to back without bringing obvious items that can easily counter this simplistic strategy? If you haven’t remembered Totem spawns already? Laughable. As Red killer I could never make use of NOED even if I tried. It’ll break the moment it lights up.

Who’s actually falling for NOED? You’re one of those that think you can beat killers with NOED, but then fail. If you’re playing the survivor handbook by starting without any items you cannot complain. As the killer is doing everything to get a kill… You do everything to survive. BRING. A. MAP! 😂

Killers mains who use noed are garbage, but it's a perfectly legitimate perk to choose.

Survivor mains that use Adrenaline are dog shI*!!....Get better at the game because you guys are worthless without it...

**See, we can do it too** (rolls eyes)

Do you not see how stupid, ignorant and absolutely childish of a mentality that is?

No thats not how you do it lol. You gotta insult him back just like insulted you (or us.) If you dont your letting him know that that kind of mentality and or behavior is acceptable! Cant let people get away with making rude, ignorant ass comments like this. Have some pride man and dont worry, as long as people like me exist we'll (I certainly will) always have your back! )

If your new here "Welcome to the Dead By Daylight Community where discrediting, insulting and talking down on a player/killer for using a perk is commonfolk"...

Lol. Its funny because most of the toxicity of this community comes from the survivor side. We (killer mains) really dont give a sh** and just wanna play the game and get to the next match but the fact that people are saying these kinda things in a "team" game can never get too old i guess.

You know a killer can still be garbage and still win in the end right?

Yes I am in agreement that NoEd makes these killers look good in the end but you should know by now how it works by now.

Usually your first clue they will have No Ed is how bad they are doing and how poorly they patrol gens.

Another one, i love it! Some one brought this up earlier or something similar so i am literally gonna copy, paste something here:

    My earlier post:

So if i (who frequently plays at rank 1) have 3 perks, no matter what they are and NOED as the 4h perk, body (kill) the whole team with 1 or 2 gens left and get a Ruthless or Merciless killer I obviously didnt get to use my NOED because the team lost so what does THAT mean?

Another scenario, lets say i play a different killer with a similar build (having NOED) but this game all the gens are done and my NOED prox's you mean to tell me my "baby wheel" (so called crutch perk) determines how good or bad i am at the game?

***Since this person failed to answer my question(s) I've redirected (not surprised at all) them to you. I hope you wont dissapoint me like he did and actually respond

Personally it's not a win for me if i play this bad and get 2-3 kills in end game because of facecamping (i rarely use NOED). As someone else already said, it's sad that the focus on "winning" developed this attitude with some people ("better be bad and get kills then playing good and get no kills"). If its fun for them to use NOED, for example in endgame builds, then it's alright. The perk is in the game to use it.

But this mindset "i need to win no matter what" while your getting clapped during the matches, only to use NOED later for some kills (and blackpip) will hinder your progress as a player. You will forever stay that baby killer that survivors laugh at and try to bully.

  • Edilibs
    Edilibs Member Posts: 699

So because or if survivors get to end game and the killer depips while having NOED they're "bad players" right? According to your logic. So if i get Merciless and Ruthless killer which i only get from getting 9 or more hooks and have NOED with 3 kills im still bad right.

You guys are objectively contridictory because you dont even put factors lkike this in the equation, again according to you peoples (people/survivor mains that want a NOED rework and downplaying people that use the perk) just having the perk in my perk slot automatically makes me bad....smh

The mindset people have of "i need to win" is a competitive one, some of us are competitive while others are extremely competitive like myself and you cant fault someone for this. I play to have fun but im also super competitive so i mix it up or balance it in different ways (Using weaker killers with various builds at rank 1 etc). I DONT get clapped in my matches and have a much higher win % as opposed to losing so this comment definetly doesnt apply to me. I have and will continue to use NOED in some of my games because im gonna play the game the way i want and can care less about rigid forms of thinking. Players in the DBD community are also notorious for making assumptions which again is not healthy for the game at all.

3 games in a row I've played against survivors who ran Small Game or Detective Hutch or Map item.

In my current build, I have Thrill of the hunt -- no real purpose, just to distract survivors on doing glowing totem and get extra 10% BP, so I see the totem count.

    2 games -- they did 5 tots

    1 game - 4

And I did not have NoED! Ha-ha! Mothers of the dog!

As someone who plays both sides off the game, i never use noed because i personally don't like the perk.

But no matter the rank, it's a legitimate perk to choose.

It's an end game perk which might not even activates after all gens got done.

As a solo survivor I'm doing what i can to make sure it doesn't activates.

    How?

Well very simple, i just do bones.

It's that easy and i don't even use any perks or items for it either.

Sure there are times 1 gets missed but 99% of the time it still gets cleansed eventually.

And still i have time to run the killer, do gens, unhook survivors and heal either myself or other survivors.

And all that as rank 1 and still get to pip, so I don't get what all this fuss is about?

I don't understand why people are calling for side objectives for a few years now if you can't even do this side objective 🤷🏼‍♂️

There are so many ways to get this side objective done easily, but it's you who chose not to do so.

If you have problems with totem spawns, there are multiple ways to deal with it, so use it instead of complaining about a side objective.

And the argument that the killer didn't earn it doesn't really stand in most cases either, some are truly bad tho, cause failing to do bones gives the killer the perk and thus earned.

And you can even classify it as a 2nd chance perk, of which survivors have many that the killer has to deal with 😉

So stop complaining about something you can choose to or not to let it activate. ✌️

What about killers that use NOED and don't get to the end game? you just played against a killer with 3 perks and lost.

I'll use myself as an example:

I frequently get to rank 1 within 3 days of rank reset (Just using my mains whom none have NOED btw) I play and rotate between 13 killers at random and or depending on who i feel like playing. 2 out of the 13 killers i play will play have NOED and one out of the two killers i use NOED almost exclusively with until i lose with him.

Once i get to rank 1 "this" is when i can finally stop being sweaty and use my weaker "fun" killers and builds. With Clown I have Ruin/Blood Warden/Insideous/Hex: No One Escapes Death. I have not depiped with this build in over 3 weeks since i've been using it. Most games they dont even make it to end game because im mixing up pressure with my Insideous and playing smart like i always do but when i lose (3 escapes and a depip) one day with my Clown who is on a win streak is that automatically gonna make me a bad killer/player?

People should really think about this. What i get from the survivor side is close to insanity because you guys are saying the same thing with no actual merit, you just want a rework and or for NOED to get nerfed or removed from the game. Then when people bring up points that theres counterplay to it by bringing afromentioned perks you either ignore it or say that we're still baby killers, sh** on us and etc and to get better at the game!

    WHATTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????????????????????????????/

That is very close to "insanity" although its more of a piss poor, REALLY bad and terrible mentality and that is very unhealthy for the game overall. Its bad enough the devs dont do anything about toxic people when there are people that actually are going through stuff with mental health issues and people are saying some very terrible things again because the devs arent taking action to prevent stuff like this from happening as there are no repramendations for this kind of behavior but then we have this nonsense about NOED......i really have to do circle motions on my temple because it boggles the mind....it just boggles the mind! People cannot possibly be this desensitized..Its so wild to me!

Yeah most of the time survivors use dh, ds and unbreakable because they know they will lose without them

  • Edilibs
    Edilibs Member Posts: 699

Great points, although i brought this up but have a long winded version of it lol. If im a baby killer, noob, scrub or whatever and i beat your whole team and no one makes it to end game while i have NOED, if im shi** then your (these survivor mains saying all this garbage) horse and dog sh** combined because i beat you with just 3 perks!

1 of 3 things will happen i think

1: This will get ignored ie the person it was directed towards that made the comment will ignore it and others of the same mentality will as well

2: The survivor will say that the team was not good or optimal or

3: You will met with even more insults and thus more ignorance

I'd like to be proven wrong but this seems to be the general theme.

    @Edilibs

I’m not sure why you are inserting specific scenarios where you aren’t doing bad as killer. I am talking about specific killers who opted to camp (as an example) because they over committed something that is a known mistake and could easily cost you the match…so they camp as a result of their own mistake.

Why would I think that killer is good because they only got the one hook, and then NoEd gave them that extra hook they wouldn’t have otherwise gotten.

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish with that question. I agree good killers can bring no Ed too, in fact I urge them to. So that I can at least be like, oh I don’t know surprised that they had it.

The same way people get inflated ego's when using coms for free info and every meta perk and stomp the majority of killers they face.
