If you could make 1 change
What would it be? Survivor or killer, i believe the best changes to any game come from the community. And i am interested to hear your ideas.
My change personally would be to make a Hardcore mode, with limited hud and set perks based on the character you select.

Survivor HUD improvement including a totem counter and symbols which indicate what a Survivor is doing at any given time (doign a gen, being chased, cleansing a totem etc). Would be awesome for soloq.

Let Survivors view the loadouts of their teammates before the match. Would be a great help for solos like me to choose builds to compliment those of my teammates.

I would make the game playable on last gen console and lower end PC's.

There are perks for that. Surely having that built into the HUD would almost be TOO convenient.

Yeah isn´t it nice that solo players have to use perks for info that swf groups get for free? /s

Yeah but solo queue was how the game was originally intended to be played. SWF was added later on. Squad gameplay on comms isnt the default so you shouldn't look towards that as a reference point.

Make a custom variant of the bot mode which can be used offline. Also everyone can be used even if you haven't purchased them since it'll be only you playing and no one else offline.

I would like an option in the endgame results we see if the team you vsed was a swf or a solo

Hardcore mode would be better with no perks, considering some killers have absolutely awful perks.
As for me, I just want the damn game balanced. Half the perks and killers in this game are so far away from the good ones, and the maps vary from game-breakingly survivor-sided to killer-sided and boring to just annoying for everyone

More BP. We're talking hundreds of millions of BPs to level up characters and we come out of matches with peanuts compared to the grand scheme.
Then, I'd turn down the volume of the screams. You ever watch TV and you have the volume set at a pleasant level, then an insanely loud commercial interrupts that makes your ears bleed? But then, if you have it turned down, you can't hear the show. They're overtuned, they actually hurt my ears. But, I can't hear the nuances of the game if the volume is low. The screams are at a 12 and I want them at a 7.

My one change is a pretty big, sweeping change made of a lot of small changes: standardization of add-ons for both killer and survivor. Making everything use clear, concise language, with a reflection towards QoL and clarity, transparency in what some of the vague terms mean as well as priority applications, as well as a check on communal fun vs. individual success.
Give me a second change, and I'd mandate 7 hours online killer and 7 hours online survivor, uncurated, per BHVR QoL and technical team members per week - a lot of what they say is fine is blatant evidence they don't participate in actual gameplay.

I'd have to be fair and do 1 NERF and 1 BUFF to each side.
Survivor Nerf - Cannot moonwalk. As Survivors turn left or right they automatically move slower. So moving in unrealistic circle or zig-zag patterns would never confuse new people as it would be just that....much slower.
Survivor Buff - The perk "Kindred" is now base for all Survivors.
Killer Nerf - Removed Bloodlust Tier 3.
Killer Buff - The perk "Shadowbourne" is now base for all Killers.
Everyone gains and loses something.

As long as squad gameplay isn't the reference point this game can quite literally never be balanced no matter what the devs do
