    it only happens if

    1. ur new and ur rank is low

    2.first time going against said killer

    i also think mabye if the chapter is new it says it for a while im not sure about this tho.

    im rank 6, and 2 weeks ago it said facing the plague

    If you didn't play for a long while, you might get such loading phase tips even as an experienced player.

    Otherwise it's only applicable to people just starting their dbd journey or meeting a recently released killer for the first few times.

    I believe it applies to your teammates as well, not only you. So if someone in your team haven't really faced Plague for the longest time or ever it will show even if you yourself face her every single match.
