Я не играл в игру около 5-ти лет и мне хотелось бы сбросить весь прогресс, начать с чистого листа, но перекупить игру не получается - ровно как и удалить (повторюсь) прогресс в игре, а новый аккаунт в стиме мне создавать ненужно, видел в интернете пару способов но очень засомневался, вопрос можно ли как-то сбросить прогресс официальным способом?

Обратись с этим вопросом в тех. поддержку(https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us), так как нельзя просто взять и сбросить прогресс.
