Should their be an extra special reward for people who prestige 3 at least 20 characters?

Prestige 3 is a a ton of BP and time. Yes you get a bloody outfit but in my eyes it was never worth the effort. I prestiged my Claudette once... never again.

I know there are a lot of people who take joy in getting everyone to P3 and I figured if someone is playing that much there really should be a nicer rewards than a blood stained standard outfit.

What do you guys think? Should there be something extra special to show you have prestiaged 20 or more characters?

There should be a unique skin for a character of your choosing if you prestige 20 characters!

First off- Prestiging 20 characters is borderline unrealistic. By my thoughts there's a really tiny percent of the playerbase that has that many characters prestiged- but that's based off my personal experience with about 1.5k hours and I don't even have 20 characters prestiged. Although yes, it's possible: possible for streamers who play every single day for a living and / or people who have an unbelievably incredible amount of time on their hands.

Second off, that's far too small scale both in the amount of effort and the payoff for it- prestiging 20 characters for a single skin? I don't think there's a skin in the entire existing game that looks good enough to say "I would grind the living hell out of Dead By Daylight for that one skin" that's just not worth it. And again to reemphasize, the sheer amount of time to prestige that many characters would honestly not be worth ANY reward save for maybe literal money in my bank account.

    Backtracking a little bit,

If you're talking rewards after you P3 any single character, I would say absolutely hell yes. But I'm not a big fan of a cosmetic reward, and I'm even less of a fan of the dumb charms (let's be real- nobody actually looks at these for more than 10 seconds). Prestige 3 awards should be far more significant, and I highly suggest that they do something to reduce the grind. Reducing the bloodpoint costs for most items, add-ons, and offerings, I think is an incredibly strong incentive to P3 your characters, this way you can more easily keep these characters stocked up without all the serious grind- because frankly there's not a huge reason currently to continue investing in your characters that you have at P3 all perks.

That or maybe apply a base bloodpoint bonus booster to your characters that are at P3, it doesn't have to be a lot but just enough that you noticeably earn more bloodpoints when you're playing a character that you put in the time and effort to get them to P3.

And for that matter Devotion also needs rewards put into it as well, it's always been an underwhelming issue in DBD that they have all these progression systems but they don't properly reward players after reaching "the end" of that progression. Nobody really wears the bloody clothes (although they look a lot better now after the visual update), the increased chance of rarer nodes in your bloodwebs is practically insignificant, and you don't get anything special after grinding through all 100 levels of Devotion to raise your devotion level. Which mind you is the one grind you can't speed up: there are no offerings to speed up your Devotion XP gain, there are no challenges to complete which will earn you devotion XP, nothing. It's a true slog and you get absolutely nothing out of it except maybe bragging rights- but when was the last time you heard anyone go "Ha! You haven't even reached a single devotion level!? I'm devotion 6 btw 😏".

Seriously, Devotion isn't even visible to any other players it's literally only for the player themselves as a visual reminder to see how much time they've sunk into DBD for nothing. There's not even a bloody ######### achievement for hitting higher devotion levels.

And you'd think after 5 years the developers would find some way to reward their long-term, most dedicated and committed base of players that have taken the time and effort (and probably along the way spent plenty of money) to earn all of these things, you'd think they'd have found a way to reward these players by now and show some appreciation for their community. Nope. ugh.

I've P3'd a grand total of one character just to prove that it was a waste of time. And it was. They should just give better rewards just for prestiging (cosmetics, not the gameplay or bloodweb rewards that a lot of people suggest, that's unfair on both newer players and those of us who didn't waste our own time).

And sure, once they've taken care of an actual incentive to pr stige that isn't just an oft-terrible retexture of the base outfit (maybe they could add it so that you can bloody up any of the common and uncommon skins), then they should absolutely think about adding a reward for prestiging a certain number of characters.

Prestiging actually hinders you in the BP grind, because it gives you extra chance to spawn ultra rare stuff. But ultra rare stuff cost more BP than rare or uncommon. So in the hand P3ing a character is actually making you pay more for bloodweb than if you do'nt prestige them ^^

Getting just "a skin" or moreover "a charm" for putting so much time and effort in whole 20 characters is pretty bonkers, not gonna lie.

I currently have 2,6k hours in this game and P3-50'd only 15 characters (10 survivors and 5 killers). And I have 3 more killers on P1-50. Only three of my characters have every single perk in the game (Kate, Legion, Pig) and Legion wasn't even prestiged once - and in current state will never be, 'cause why would I waste all those perks, addons and offerings on that one bloody default skin? And I wouldn't want a skin for any of it. Why? Because I already have skins that are much better than any bloody or glowy prestige skin can be. And not a single sane person would want a charm they'll never use (or use and never see outside of the pre-game lobby).

If there was a reward for multiple prestiges, I'd love it to be something like a permanent discount on bloodweb items for those characters, who were prestiged. Or, maybe, an ability to increase chances of certain addons appearing much more frequently in the bloodweb.
