Is it possible to get really good at nurse or billy or blight on console?

I was playing billy recently and I might be wrong but I just felt I could do what any of player can due to the limit of a joystick.if anybody can tell me wrondg please, because I'm a console player out of neccesity and basic person syndrome and it we really suck it's the platform I play on that I can't be good at the killer

For Nurse and Billy, yes. Console Nurse isn't mechanically limited by anything - you can still be accurate enough with your blinks on a controller and with practice the only issue will be the framedrops and stutters. Billy is much the same, but obviously won't be as rewarding because of the near-impossibility of hitting a smart survivor at a decent loop with the Chainsaw. Curving is harder but curving has become a pipe dream on most reworked tiles to begin with.

Blight, though, is hard-capped on a controller. It's better now than it used to be, but you still lose out on accuracy - and especially with Rushes, the incredibly high Rush sensitivity combined with the narrow hitbox of a lunge out of Lethal Rush means you will often curve around a corner only to miss a good 30° to the left or right of someone, which doesn't really occur on PC. There's also DPI and all of the other PC exclusive Blight issues.

Blight and Trickster, followed up by Huntress are the killers who suffer on a controller the most. Most other killers at least function, even if not to the best of their ability, and you can make them work. These three killers will always be much weaker than they could be.

With Billy on console, it's possible to flick the joystick when the chainsaw is 99% charged, so the Billy does a 90 degree turn at the start. That's a good trick to pull off with practice.

My Nurse game is okay, but the controls do make it a tad tricky. I've not played The Blight yet though. But with Hillbilly, with a lot of experimenting, it's possible to make him more flexible in his movements.

Also, as a Hillbilly tip, try chainsaw charging through gaps which look too tight, or long, curving charges. You'll be surprised what he can actually charge through. Even Lery's has some unexpected running opportunities!

Billy, yes. You can do absolutely fine. There are PC Billy players who set controller sensitivity to 100 and only use Q and E to flick.

I've seen good console Nurse players. It can happen through sheer willpower and dedication.

Blight is a bit rough. There are certain things they can't really do with a controller.

Chuck Billy in the bin, try Oni and thank me afterwards.

Blight is hard on a controller than it is on a mouse. Blight is a lot of fun, but as a PS5 player I really have a hard time playing with him only because I can't pull off nearly as many tight maneuvers that those with a mouse can.

I have played for two years on console

Billy is very playable although you don't have the best rotation.

Blight is not that hard if you play it with Compound Seven but without that addon it's harder because after hitting the wall with the joystick it's hard to aim for the survivor.

The nurse is the most hard, the joystick is too slow after of a fatigue and is very easy lost the survivor, occasionally I win with her or I have a decent game but it costs a lot.

I don't even think Huntress is really even hurt that bay by controller. It's not quite as accurate as a mouse, but I haven't had too many moments playing her where I felt betrayed by the controls.

I don't think you can get as good as PC players and I only say that because I still haven't come across any console hillbillies or nurses that are as good as the PC killers I used to go against. Good, but not godly.

Yes. But you must put in a lot of time and even at your best, you still wont be at the level of MnK killers.

So its up to you if you have nothing else to do just grind these killers to get them to higher level. I play other games too so its a waste of time for me, have 900h in the game after a year and not gonna put another 300h into single killer just to get more 4k games against average people.

Maybe after they add MnK support for consoles I will return to Blight or Nurse to master them

    Billy? Yes.

    Nurse or Blight? No.

The FPS issues combined with the inability to flick really hurts them.

Yes. The gap between key oard and controller is (specifically in DbD) much smaller than most people think. Billy is essentially unchanged, Nurse is more punishing but still possible, and the only difference between M&K Blight and Controller Blight is an inability to be a dirty exploiter.

Wait, no, that's not true, z flicking is absolutely still a thing. And it's still hard to believ just how much some people want every single little advantage in a game where both RPD and Azarovs exist.

Edit: Also, ranged killers get serious hurt by controller. The only reason I don't quite put Nurse at their level is because she launches herself, giving her an enormous and controllable attack box.

Yes and no. Billy yes, Nurse not exactly.

With Nurse you’re not just limited by the capped fps, you’re also limited by the lower sensitivity. This means that a PC survivor with a “high enough” sensitivity will be able to more easily dodge your Nurse blink attack.

As compared to a Nurse on PC, she can move at a higher sensitivity and therefore her post blink attack has a wider margin of area to swing into, therefore, being able to keep up with the survivors extrapolated movement.

I thought they fixed Blight's turning/flicks on controller, and he was fine at max sensitivity no? Or is this talking about exploits/DPI or something?

Yes, though it requires a lot of time and dedication.

what is your controller sensitivity set too?

if its below 100 my advice is to slowly increase you're sensitivity as you play

start from where you are comfortable and increase it by 5% (which is the only increment you can increase/decrease sensitivity on console) and play until you are used to it and repeat until you are at 100% then its just a case of practice and learning the muscle memory needed for those killers

Yes to all 3. I have not became great with Blight but I know I can, Nurse you can for sure, and Billy I rarely play but have no doubts if I put the time in I would be great with him regardless of playing on console.
