About the Developer Update...
I may of been against MMR before, but honestly the last test if I recall was not nearly as bad as the other ones we've had, I do remember my games actually feeling fair and not a curb stomp like the previous tests or even like how the game is currently.
I'll welcome MMR with open arms, but if things get out of hand for higher level play I really hope a separate Ranked and Casual mode will be implemented, so those who are high ranked don't have to feel as if they need to fight to stay at the top every time they log into the game
(oh and also nice Pinhead changes)

I don't think they will ever add a separate mode purely because it will split the fanbase.

Maybe then a survive mode. Were it's basically survivors have to survive for 15 minutes, no gens. So it's purely about chases and stealth. Now of course some perks would not be usable. But killer would only have to focus on chases, in other words the fun part about the game. Not worrying about gens and whatnot.

That argument made sense when the game was small, but now it's regularly hanging near the top of the steam charts, ranked 11 right now for example. Plus, this game has crossplay so there's even more players on console in addition to the over 50,000 on steam right now. Plenty of games with less players have multiple mode. Rocket League is lower on the charts and they have at least 6 modes I can think of off the top of my head.
Queue times in this game are due to the imbalance of killers and survivors at an given time, not the lack of players.
So sure, it would split the fanbase, but that could be a good thing. If they could tweak ranked and casual individually, it could create a better experience for both types of player and hopefully draw even more people into the game.

That makes no sense. A killer can only chase one survivor. So a 1vs1 chase mode would be better. But then there would be less killer in the standard playlist.

The last test was wonderful, killer matches haven't been the same since it was turned off. Bring on SBMM.

There's going to be anyways within a month or two of this. Certainly by march after the Evil Dead game releases in february, which it was delayed to in order to put bots into it along with single-player capability.

I was pretty satisfied from the last test, It's not gonna be perfect but I think this will be a good change for DBD.

Like a battle royale. 20 survivors, maybe 2 killers, 1 life each. 20 mins to survive and pile through the exits.

Imagine you want to rank but 80% of the killer are in the casual mode just imagine your queue time. Survivor queue already take more time then killer for balance reason i think. 2 mode will kill the game and i believe the dev know it that why they dont do it.
