Obsessively High Ping when using ClearPass OnGuard

My college requires all students to connect to the network using a program called ClearPass OnGuard. When attempting to connect to the servers my latency is 500+ms and unplayable. If I can manage to connect to the game it affects other players too, especially the killer if they down me and try to pick me up to hook me. I've contacted the school IT and they seem to have no way to help me.

It takes forever to load into the lobby, and when the game starts it takes forever to load into the game and this affects every player in the game too.
