How do the matches work?
When I play as an assassin I find myself with exaggeratedly strong people and I am rank 18 instead with survivor and all the contrary are rank 10 and I find myself playing for the first time but because I would like to play as an assassin but I can't 😭

Keep trying, sometimes this happens, with time and some practice you can overcome those matches.
But yes its hard sometimes.

It is always impossible and for 2 years I have been playing and never played normally as an assassin they always blind me and always break those hooks and make me more pissed off when they use signs with their hands as much as I would like bots 😭

Current matchmaking system only considers ranks and even then it tries to match you with others kn a range of +/- 8 Ranks. And if queue times on either side in your current region/time are too long even that may be ignored and you will get matches with higher rank disparity. Also it’s just buggy.
but tomorrow with the new chapter update a completely different matchmaking system will be used, it’s usually called SBMM (skill based matchmaking) or MMR, it uses a hidden rank for matchmaking, which tries to approximately rank your skill in a different way than the emblem system.

But it is not true as a murderer I am ashes IV I found all gold with new ranks and remained all the same instead as a survivor I meet all ashes and they are silver. I regretted spending money on this game I would like a lot to play as an assassin normally like the tutorial but there is not that satisfaction at least Friday the 13th the game and a thousand times better has the bot mode

Yeah, SBMM is live. The grades you are seeing (ash, bronze, gold etc) are not used for matchmaking at all.
