Once SBMM is implemented the next step is to implement Group SBMM for SWFS
So let's say that you have 2 new players and 2 veteran high rank players. They play a few games together and the SBMM of the new players sky rocket and the SBMM of the 2 veteran players drop while they're all playing together. Then the next day when they're playing on their own the new players are blasted by games where they are out matched and the veteran players are put against much weaker players then they should until they win so often that they are back to their initial rating.
What I am proposing is that when survivors queue up as a group, it initially "guesses" what there SBMM score is based off of the individual scores, but once that's set. The group is given it's own SBMM score and all future games with that group is using that rating.
The individuals personal SBMM scores can still go up and down per match, but only slightly. So rather than having a huge drop from losing or a huge raise, it only is adjusted a bit.

Allegedly SBMM will take the average of a SWFS MMR and find killers based on that.

My point is that the result from matches with individuals of varying skill playing a group will throw off an individuals ranking to the point of being meaningless. So that when they play by themselves again there ranks will end up being inflated or deflated due to the influence of those they were playing with.
There's also the matter of how people play together, you may have 4 really solid players where their playstyles will interfere with each other and they'll play poorly and vice versa, you may have a group that is mediocre on their own, but together things just click. In either case, they haven't gotten worse or better, But the group dynamics change who they should verse. In both circumstances the matchmaking should use how they play as a group rather than individual skill rankings to determine who they should verse.

Wouldn't such a plan require them to remember mutiple smm scores for the same player?
When I am not solo there's about 15 others I might join with depending on the day of the week, job/college schedules, etc. Due to the changing players skills are all over the place, and only a few reach red ranks like ever . Most of the time it'll be 3-4 man groups but it varies widely. And I bet other teams are just as chaotic.
So the system would have to record a score for each survivor in each possible team make-up? I don't see that happening, just taking an average like they said it would.

I sure hope that is the case because if it isn't based on average and instead places 4 SWF all of equal MMR against a killer with that MMR, and you throw in meta perks and comms, then that killer is not going to win, ever. That's going to be very common at higher SBMM levels and it's not going to be all that enjoyable for either side, I'd imagine.

Um... That is what averaging the mmr would do, fam.

Why do you think it is not already like that?

It's possible that it could already be set this way, but seeing that it's never been brought up, I don't believe that's how it works right now.

When calculating your updated score, maybe it takes into account the scores of other players and also if they were in swf.
