Lot of Talk about SBMM
Is this not the reason they are trying to get it going? This game was not fair to the survivors at all.
Or is there more of a concern for the upper crust players? I haven’t really been following the topic very well.

I get this reversed as a killer all the time 2 purple a red and a green or yellow. Yeah so fair 3 of the 4 are way over my skill. I'm looking forward to sbmm

Yeah, the incompetent matchmaking is overall the reason for the implementation of sbmm.
Red ranks going against literally green rank killers at times.
Survivors going against a killer they have no chance against on top of bad teammates which leads to just a lot of bs matches.
Sbmm will help balance most of this out, won't solve miracles but it'll defo help.

I also played against a red rank killer yesterday(im green) with a squad of yellows. It was a bloodbath

Sadly the higher ranked players will suffer, as the middle to low ranks have for so very long. Their sacrifice will forever be honored.

This community is so paranoid to change it's kinda crazy.
Sbmm is a good thing. Some bad players will use it as a scapegoat for their losses but overall it's really not going to have as big of an effect like some think.
So many people heavilly overestimating their abilities. The number of sweaty killer or swf is not going to increase. You're only going to face the top 5% if you are the top 5%.
And sorry to break it to some people but 95% of cases you are not part of it. You'll go against other average players.

But yes, the sbmmr is supposed to avoid things like that.

That is some intense math you have there! In all seriousness, it is not going to just be the top 5% where this is an issue. It all trickles down. To what end, who knows? I guess we will find out.

Look at their perks, those arent really rank 17 players btw. But yes matchmaking is bad and Idk why people think the new one will be any different

I just find it funny how every person thinks their mmr will be that high that they will only face top swf or top killers.

The irony is this level of skill mismatch will likely still happen or worse if the tests are to go on, at least for me. I also have approximately zero faith in bhvr's ability to make an mmr when they wont even define what a win is, let alone the literal constant amount of bugs.
