That bottle trick doesn't really counter DS. Happy to see more clowns though, they're not too common.

Always be throwing bottles, and when in a pallet loop throw a bottle on one side of pallet and it will be easy.0 -
A great combo is one that extends the duration of intoxication and the one that gives an extra hindered penalty. This really slows them down.
As for tips....learn to pace your bottles. There's nothing that bugs me watching streamers play him and spammig bottles everywhere and then trying to chase with none left lol.
Hold it in. Have one ready to throw when you're on the hunt. It charges in power and will flash when fully charged. This means if you see someone far off on a gen you can start the chase with a bottle hitting them. Also aim your shots well. There's no rush, so make every shot count.
If you're in a wide open area, throw the bottles just ahead of them so they'll enter the cloud and not have time to dodge. This slows them down a bit so you can catch up quicker.
If you see the survivor running towards a building, throw a bottle at the entrance. Some survivors will have second thoughts about trying to enter that building when they see the gas cloud.
If theres a rock or something the survivor is behind, throw a bottle one way and walk around the other. They either run into you or they run into the gas cloud.
Basically the main thing is learning to pace your shots. Just like the Huntress hatchets. You want them all to count. The last thing you want is to run out of them mid chase. Though you can get reload add ons so it doesn't hurt you as much.
Also if there's ever two ways around something always throw a bottle the way you're not going so that if the survivor flees they get slowed.3 -
Clown mains are like Freddy mains, we don't talk about them here since they're generally considered a myth like fight club. The 1st rule is we don't talk about it. 😜

Used to, until wraith got his rework. Now that he's viable, I'm sticking with him alllllll the way. But I do have my clown p3 with a bit of experience. I have two big tips,
1. Hitting people with bottles and hitting them while they're intoxicated gives extra points and
2. Don't be afraid to use a bottle even if it won't guarantee a hit, you should NOT underestimate his damage cancelation ability. Keeping them intoxicated while you hop through their strong window with bamboozle makes a huge difference

One tip I forgot to add..
If you get them at a pallet that's just a little bit too safe, and you try a quick mindgame and it doesn't work, bust out a quick reload. This puts pressure on them the way they pressure killers with the self-heal. Normally they'll just stand still at the safe pallet so it gives you a nice reload without losing them.
Also reload often. I tend to reload after every hook - even if I'm at 3/4 bottles. I play it safe, better to reload in downtime than need to reload during a chase. Obviously if you run something like PGTW though hit the gen first and then reload.0 -

He will get a mild slow but not enough to make much of a difference compared to how long you're stunned. If you also run Enduring while doing that as well, then yeah sure that could work. By itself though, won't get you much time.

Sorry, for a brief moment i forgot that there are CASUALS who like to play at Rank 20 ONLY.
