Should it be really hard to survive by default
Just throwing a general ask on what people think dbd should be.should the developers have the mentality of giving killers more power so survivors are weak from where we are now.i personally think killer should be more powerful from where we are now.
Just for clarity I play mostly survivor and I feel I'm never scared of killers cause far too easy can a killer be so fundamentally broken by perks and alot of pallet heavy maps or just the strength of even two people working together they become essentially helpless.
Now m know I'm essentially asking people to try to see if fundamentally the game should be different but I just think it's interesting to debate philosophy and methods of this game over solid mechanics and game design.
Please try to be civil and don't poo on others way of thinking

Yes.it should be a more oppressive for survivors game
Survivors need to find surviving hard and scary, and not some walk in the park giving no [BAD WORD] about the killer existence.

Currently wherever we're at is fine
So long as they shift what's killing survivors from crappy teammates and poor survivor co-ordination to something more along the lines of "the killer is the real enemy" then I think the current thingy is fine.

BHVR is constantly describing killer as "the power role." Killer is meant to be on top; meant to have an advantage, but that's almost never the case.

Escaping should be a Survivor's "Perfect Victory" state. It should be just as difficult for a Survivor to Escape as it is for a Killer to 4K at 5 Gens.

The fact that we continually get weaker and weaker killers is a testament to how BHVR has lost their nerve. They no longer feel it necessary to create an oppressive, action packed environment for survivors. its sad.
