How do console players feel about pinhead?
I’ll give my opinion about pinhead first, in general I think he’s kinda weak. I can hit someone with a chain from the same distance I’d throw a bottle as clown and get less slowdown which is ehhh. I’ve learnt one of the best ways is to try and cut people off.it be nice if throwing down pallets took a little longer while under the effects of the chains to make running to a pallet not almost pure safety. Maybe a skill check or something.
His turning is alright though using any aim killer on console feels a little annoying but its bearable. Haven’t experienced any freezes or frame drops on him (Xbox one btw), how he feel on console for everyone else? Anyone experiencing issues or concerns about him cause my only ones are that he’s a little weak.

He's Clown with Nurse mechanics

I'm shocked any console players would spend money on this game with the way they treat us.

Why do you people buy the new killer with how they have treated console players this whole year?
That doesn't feel right...

Hes more like clown with clown mechanics. The "gateway" pretty easily follows the same vibe as throwing a bottle, you just stand totally still while doing it. If he had nurse mechanics, he'd actually be good.

Chains are more reliable than on the ptb I've notices

The gateway is more like a blink with the way you have to aim and shoot and precise times to land it where you want it. And then it becomes some weird Deathslinger mini game. Clown just throws willy nilly

I played 3 matches and have elected to go back to playing Freddy, my god does he suck ass.

He seems pretty bad.
Takes all of the finesse of Nurse, with a power level comparable to Clown and with an aiming scheme like Trickster.

Because I play this game to play as horror icons? I didn't even buy the game and I love it. The least I can do is buy killers as a killer main. Rofl.

I play this game to play as Joe

Played 3 matches on console... yeah... probably not gunna play him again unless he gets some large buffs. He is painfully underwhelming
I'd say I can't remember the last time a killer was this bad on release, but I never played trickster

He forces you to stop doing gens, otherwise you can't do gens. He finds survivors for free, and can teleport to them. He shuts down loops entirely and you can't use your exhaustion perks and pallets are useless. That's way stronger than clown. He's ######### miserable to play against as a solo survivor. I'm just adding him to the list of killers I kill myself against to get out of the game as fast as possible.

Strong disagree on him being stronger than Clown. To your points:
- If one person gets the puzzle box before the chain hunt starts, it'll never activate. Played full games as pinhead where I never once got a chain hunt going. That can be annoying as solo survivor though if all your teammates are potatoes and you're the one doing the puzzle box every time. All that said, it's less passive slowdown than pig gets
- He can teleport to one survivor a few times a match, and they get a good look at where he's spawning so they can run away. When you play as pinhead, you have zero idea where the survivor is, and they've usually got a solid headstart by the time you find scratch marks
- His counterplay seems to be to hold W, then only use pallets to stop an M1. He's going to punish looping if he can manage to land that incredibly difficult to aim chain shot (difficult as hell on console, at least)
I'll agree on that point though, he is not very fun to verse as a solo survivor. BHVR seems to have found a way to thread the needle and create a killer that is miserable to both play as and against

His main power is a joke of anti loop, chain hunt is the only thing mildly challenging and that's easy enough to remove. So far I have been able to farm him for chase points.
Hope this is just a case of killers not being good with him yet.

His power seems hard to aim, but I've only played on Hawkins so far so will need to play more to make a proper judgement.

surprisingly easy to control... I expected his chains to be just awful to use. but it's good.
doesn't seem super strong, but it's fun at least

I agree, he lost a lot of swag without the line playing. It will just make me sad to teleport.

his tp feels like im a bing bong or something. really, really lame.

He is really unfun like people were saying he was kind of like Nurse, but I'm not seeing it at all, it is incredibly hard to aim the hooks on console the base turn rate is actually horrendous, and his abilities just in general are underwhelming. ill wait until he gets some buffs, then try him again.

I litterally just disinstalled this game from my Xbox after 1 year and 5 months of playing, I was getting really mad, I couldn't stand another disaster of a chapter, another awkward killer power
I totally lost my trust for this game

His teleportation Is too slow. His aiming is janky but everything is on console. I doubt I try to adept him anytime soon. I like his concept but the chain hunts almost never happen.
had a lot of survivors starting and stopping solving the configuration so it’s annoying. Don’t think they should be able to stop one they start and the chains slowing them should dissuade bad survivors especially if they’re injured.
