What happened to the "estimated time"?

About 2 years ago, Dead by Daylight told you an estimated waiting time which wasn't too accurate, but it still wasn't too bad. If I saw that playing killer could take me 20 minutes of waiting time, I knew I could make myself something to eat in the meantime. Why did they disable and never reenable that system again?
