Pre- and Post-Game Chat, Issues with Delete/Backspace

Since the patch, every game (regardless of which survivor I am playing as, or killer for post-game chat) I have noticed that you can no longer hold down the 'delete' key to delete text in the text field, similarly you cannot just hold backspace to go back you have to press it over and over for each character you want to delete. I assume this is a bug?
PC -- Every match regardless of map, survivor, killer whatever
