Pinhead is amazing
With all the negativity that BHVR is getting, and to be fair, partially rightfully so, I could go on about the servers issues, sound bugs persisting and what not, I did want to give some positive feedback as well. Because I personally think they did an amazing job with Pinhead.
His power is good and really fun to use. Chasing survivors with his chain ability is a lot of fun. And he is a fairly strong killer in my opinion, might not need any further buffs. Not to mention his animations are amazing.
I just think BHVR did an exceptional job with Pinhead. Such a shame the game is having serious server issues with Pinhead right now.

fun yes, strong ? no

He's fun, his power is enjoyable and has strengths but also a good amount of counterplay. Balanced killer. Of course I'm not saying he is perfect he could use some tweaks. I just hope they don't make chains last longer. But buff other areas.

He would've been great if he didn't get "DISCONNECTION FROM HOST" screen mid-game every single match.

His power is bad without chain hunt happening. Think of it this way.
While aiming his power, he moves slower.
While in his power, he stops moving
He can't immediately throw out a chain
The power only slows the survivors by 2-3 seconds, even less if they break it on terrain.
RNG can make it so the chains just spawn behind a tree or something so they instantly break.
After he hits a chain, there is a small delay when switching back.
By the time you, aim, switch, shoot the chain, switch back, the survivor has likely gained about the same distance they just "lost" while using the power. Worst of all, if you miss, they can basically cross the entire map at that point.

From what I've seen, he is heavily dependent on the caliber of survivors. Most of the games I played against him, he barely managed to get hooks. I'm also finding the chains easy to avoid and even take the cube hostage while working on gens.
Also on console there is a lengthy delay before you can even start positioning the gate, gives a ridiculous amount of distance and that's "if" you hit.

In my experience, it feels pretty good if the survivor breaks a chain, and then another spawns and hits them before they fully break out. If he spawned 4 chains instead of 3, it might be enough. Either that or they need to make it so when another chain spawns after a survivor breaks it with terrain it aims better, because it misses half the time. Or just remove terrain breaking them completely.

Yeah I'm so happy they finally brought in a 1v4-focused killer after a while. He's also super fun to play as, very unique, and actually kinda strong.
I do think he could use some buffs though, but this is day one so I'm probably saying too much.

I’m just glad we got a unique killer after nemesis

Instead of making it so I can no longer break off of the environment, make it so the one addon is basekit. The one that spawns extra, cause to be honest breaking off the environment is only one of the 2 to counter him

Yeah how about not slowing him down when he's aiming, or making it so when chain hunt is active u don't slow down.

I agree.
They actually nailed it with Pinhead (no pun intended).

I personally disagree, but it is too early to say for sure.
I'll see how it goes with SBMM active.
But as for now I think he is pretty strong.

Noooo, you're not smart if you aren't cynical. You have to prove to everyone that you see what's wrong with the creations of others and be snarky and cynical about things!!
(I do this, too, but it's really prevalent on these forums).
Good on you for having a good time!

Sure he is not blight strong. But he is not weak either. He is basically solid, he needs a small buff. But not a massive overhaul buff.

I'm not convinced he even needs a buff at all. But we'll have to see.
I just really don't want him to turn into another Pyramid Head, or Trickster. Or Deathslinger. Becoming very oppressive in chases.

Meh... I think it's too early to call him "Amazing".
I feel like his power hinders him more than it helps him. Which is not a good thing.
The fact that a survivor can pick up the box, have him teleport and not even get an indicator of where that survivor is, is bad design IMO.
Sometimes fun doesn't necessarily mean something looks great, it needs to be effective too.
Add to that, that this patch came with a lunge bug and a random disconnect from the killer you just purchased as the cherry on top.
I just don't see how you can call something amazing when it hasn't even gotten past the bugs enough to actually play him as he is 'meant' to be played.

I think he would be trickster level annoying if he gets overly buffed. Essentially becoming a breaking chain simulator. However I do think he needs some small buffs. I don't pinhead should be able to break his own chains mainly.

For me Pinhead is such a disapointment, just like Nemesis was. Range killer with some extras, thats it. We had those type of killers more then enough, i want to see something new to the table.
