Why is "toate" censored?
I was writing in my mother tongue and the word "toate" (all (the things)) was censored. Can someone please tell me how that is a swear word?

The chat filter is embarassing, it censors a myriad of innocent and normal words, so that even normal communication is almost impossible sometimes. Honestly one if not the worst addition to the game.

This Game may contain content not appropriate for all ages, or may not be appropriate for viewing at work: Frequent Violence or Gore, General Mature Content

If the chat only blocked slurs, then it would've been fine.

I tried saying "The Jake played well" one time when I was on PTB, It blocked out the name Jake. So how many other names have been blacklisted by the censor.

so we can have people
1.Stabbed
2.Bludgeoned
3.Hooked through the shoulder
4.Cut by Chainsaws
5.Mauled by small children
6.Infected by various biological agents
7.Hooked in pretty much every location
8.Hurt in pretty much every way and location imaginable
But we can't have people say #########, seems normal
EDIT: Just Realised we already have swearing in the game thanks to Ash, what the hell BHVR

It just censors things based on context rather than random words, but generally, the filter seems to be working at random.
Last night, I had a match where the Killer decided to camp a Jane (all generators were done and both doors were 99d) so we were trying to unhook her because she had played well. It failed and she died in hook so in the after-game chat, I typed "You played so well, I'm so sorry it had to end like this" and for whatever reason the filter censored it.

I haven't checked in a while, but Wesker and Sunderland were censored for me in the past.
I don't know why and I don't think we'll ever find out why lol

I remember at some point I was talking to a German person, and the word Deutsch (German) was censored. Also at some point someone was speaking russian so I said "ne govori po' russki" (don't speak Russian) and of course "ne" was censored.
At this point it seems it can censor anything and 90% of the time it has 0 reason to be censored.
