How mmr works for survivor

I’m 100% convinced that it’s based on escapes. Why do I think this? Because I was getting optimal survivors for a crap tone of games straight and after I die 1 game (btw I didn’t even play bad this game. Did gens got chased for awhile got altruism, etc). I was the only person who died in this game. Literally the game after I get paired with a bunch of people who seemed like they never played before. 1 guy only had like 40 hours total in the game.
