Hellraiser killer box not working

I hate the new boss. The chains prevent healing, working on engines, cleaning hex, everything. He is not even around and the chains come out. Pick up the box, solve it...now chains follow me everywhere. Two people together...game over they are rapid fire. Watched videos and they all say, just unlock the box. Is something broken? I have never seen so many people leave matches before they were killed as there are with this new killer.

Was this killer tested with an average player or just top players? Because right now it is just ruining the game and breaking the basic mechanics. This is not killers being good, this is a killer that just float around and needs to do nothing because the chains prevent survivors from completing any tasks.


What am I missing?

    as i was told run away with the box across the map ..... that seems to work idk what else i tried to solve it first game just like you killer tps right too me then chains following while trying. idk how else to counter this killer not been or played against him enough. annoying is what i do know lol. then get him to tp to you waste his time dont fully do the puzzle other than that no idea
