Balance that this game needs

On this forum, you will see many survivor mains asking buffs, many killer mains asking buffs but this is not what will balance the game.

Sure some perks need some tweaks or rework but it will never be a game changer.

The only thing BHVR can do to properly balance the game is tweaking the maps.

  1. First, all too big maps (above 10k square) MUST be rework to make them smaller
  2. Indoor maps MUST be reworked, Midwich, Raccoon city, Treatment Theatre, the Game have nothing to do in the game in their current state. WAY TOO MANY walls, pallets, windows, especially on Treatment...
  3. And then, you have to balance the game features depending the trial skill rank : higher is the rank, lower is the number of pallets & windows available

Atm, the number of pallets and windows is way too low for low skill survivors but it's way too big for high skilled survivors.

However i think it's perfect for average survivors.

Once all this is done, you won't have to tweak so much the perks.

I know it will take ages for BHVR to take those decisions and then to bring them to the game... sad, by the time, we high skill players will only play and face Nurse/Blight :).

The game needs a second look for sure, but I really believe the very first thing they need to do is start rebuilding the game from the ground up.

The amount of bugs out with each update is only getting worse and it's unacceptable. Consoles have way too many issues, and now DLC is being disabled randomly? Without a hotfix? Those issues alone are enough to have people ready to jump ship once the next best thing comes along.

Yup they clearly need tostop releasing DLC for a while and do an Operation Health, correcting all bugs, performance issues and balance.

Once this is done, they will be able to work on a better basis.
