Overreaction?

Today when I got on to play, my games felt great! Maybe MMR is just taking time to fully go into effect and place everyone in the right places. Anyone else feel any differences today? Or am I just a lucky guy today?

I think people saying it would kill the game were overeating. Matchmaking for killer doesn't seem any different, so I agree with you.

I've said this the entire time. Most people are for sure overreacting about sbmm.

It's been completely fine for me personally.

I haven't noticed a difference in either role yet

The MMR feels very hit or miss. I only played one game after the rank reset and I was pinhead. I had been playing him all day yesterday so the system had to get some data on my performance. The first match after the rank reset I destroyed those survivors. They only completed 1 gen. I felt MMR broke that one match.

I was playing Hag for the first time today and I was getting decent Survivors.

So no, I don't really think it works.

Supposedly the MMR for your new killers is based off of your average killer MMR until your placements are complete despite what their release statements said. So basically, there's no positive to MMR if you're playing as a killer.

No, still getting camped and tunneled by formerly Rank 1 Killers.

My killer games are still fluctuating wildly and my chill, non-sweaty 4 man that always plays on Sundays for a while quit early because the killers we were against were reportedly better than the killers our best survivor goes against when solo and the casual members weren’t having fun at all.

if the game is going to settle in MMR wise it really should do so soon, my enjoyment is actually being impacted at this point…

Solo survivor is still as miserable as it was before the sbmm but killer seems less sweaty, I've had some fun matches with pinhead. Haven't tried with other killers since the sbmm rolled out so maybe I'm getting that new chapter dlc preferential treatment from the servers lol

As a god tier survivor/killer (according to mmr) I absolutely hate it. My killer matches have become so sweaty that I just facecamp and accept the 2k. As for survivor, it's either a hardcore blight, nurse or spirit that completely obliterates us or an inexperienced killer that is lucky to get 5000 bloodpoints. I'd say the system messes up and gives me a balanced match about 10% of the time.

I had a bunch of really decent matches today, actually. A lot of babies on both sides, but I'm fine with that. But now the sweat's rolling in. 😬

I think that's just because it's getting into late night though.

I've seen an uptick in what I perceive as low rank survivors getting fed to high ranks killers. I relate this to the uptick in d/c survivors who know they've been placed in a game above their rank.

If the OP 'feels good' because he's getting 4k after 4k. I consider my theory as holding true.

My games have been way higher skilled survivors after way higher skilled survivors. I've lost 90% of my games yet I'm still seeing the same level of survivor. Out of 40 games I've had 3 random baby survivor groups thrown into the 3 hook matches I've had. Plus q times 10+ minutes for 3-5 minute matches. I honestly haven't had fun in days and I've only played 1 game a day the last couple of days because I just don't want to wait 10+ minutes to get stomped.

For me it does feel hit or miss

Like I played Spirit and got into a match with all red Rank (Grade) players is was horrible... and I was Bronze 2

But then I play with a different killer and it looks fine (1 maybe 2 red Rank (Grade) players)

And survivor matches feel good (haven't played with or against a red Rank (grade) players)
