Break the Chain… no don’t vault the pallet xD
I thought BHVR made a big deal about testing on consoles as they were ignorant to this when making new content. Seems like nothing has changed, to no surprise. Yeah can I break the chain please. Vaulting the pallet I just dropped doesn’t help me. Also me spinning my camera allows the killer to mind game me so please don’t tell me to look away from the pallet. Also please don’t tell me to change key binds. I’ve tried to and it’s really awkward repairing a generator with the X button. Thanks gamers

Especially because vaulting with the chains is the slow crawl of a vault so the killer can take their sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet time walking to the other side to smack you in the face

When I (rarely) play on controller- PS4 Dualshock- I have the vaults and chain breaks on X instead of that being the gen repair, as well as skill checks. Gen repair remains a trigger button.

I switched vaulting etc to R3 on ps4. Did it kill me many times? Yes, but i think im getting better. Switching buttons is hell, but you will overcome it.

Ok, people keep saying to switch the buttons but when I go to the controller screen on Xbox, there are only two options; RB to do "actions" and RB to use items.
There's no customization beyond that that I can see so I could switch actions to something else but then I'd have the same issue, just with a different button.
Am I just an idiot missing this option to customize the buttons more or is this something on all consoles except Xbox?

I honestly feel so bad for console players. I feel like us PC players really take our multiple button bindings for granted.

The default keybind is a bad choice by behavior... but rebind it to something you do like. You are asking for a solution for which you already have one.

Tbh it’s just poor Bhvr once again. New players or casual players don’t want to be messing around with keybinds in their settings. Just another bad example

Not at all, as I mentioned recently players shouldn’t have to be messing around in their settings just to be able to have decent games going on. Why do I have to do my muscle memory which take ages just for one killer? It’s poor from bhvr

there is "Use item" which, are item related
"pick item/interactions" picking stuff, doing gens and stuff.
"actions" vaults, pallets etc

So the "Use Items" button isn't just using your items. It's using Generators?
That...makes no sense but I guess a generator is kind of like an item? I'll go make the change now!

There's "Use Item", "Pick Up Item Interactions" and "Actions". I assumed the Pick Up Item Interactions was one statement, as in you use that button to pick things up but I see now that it is likely supposed to be read as "Pick Up Item and/or Interactions"

Well your muscle memory states that both actions are bound to one and the same button, so either way a pretty bad setup if you think of it. If you don't want to change it, then adapt and face in such a way you don't vault.
Either learn to use 2 buttons or stick to the one... it is a single killer.
