Who would win in a fight? Oni or Nemesis

Oni would tear nemesis up

From what little I know about RE lore... I think Nemesis would tear Oni in half. I love Oni, but the guy was human. He died. Nemesis seems nigh indestructible.

Unless this is based completely on DbD lore and only DbD lore, in which case, I don't know. Oni's certainly the better killer.

hand to hand combat I gotta give it to oni, nemesis is roughly half a foot taller than oni but oni is trained and disciplined with both about the same muscle mass

given their weapons from any game oni his club / bloodfury and nemesis rocket launcher its probably nemesis if he can land the shot unless oni pulls a gru on him

given their dbd powers only, oni would probably clean house with his sword vs nemesis's whip and the zombies are down in one slice even more one sided if oni has bloodfury

    overall I think its oni

I Actually think this would be one of the first "VS" posts where i can confidently say it would probably be a draw.

    They both have:

    -Advanced Combat experience

    -Super Strength

-Knowledge in many forms of weaponry

    -Super Agility

    -Infinite Stamina

The differences between them are minor, mostly just relating to the franchises they came from. I feel like they'd be locked in a pretty endless combat, never able to truly slay the other.

Here's the thing. Oni is an actual Oni. And onis would fight gods.

    I'll go with Nemesis

This is tough considering both are nearly unstoppable killing machines. Does Nemesis have access to his mutations from RE?

Oni without a doubt. Nemesis is very bad at his job. How manny times did he fail to kill Jill and Carlos? If anything the dumb zombies and the Gamas and Betas were far more dangerous to face than Nemesis. Even after few Mutations Nemesis fails. As far as we know ONi has far more confirmed kills.

Jill and Carlos had plot armor, if you want a lore explanation he was just toying with his targets. I think it's a fair match up if Oni has his entity-given powers but otherwise Nemmy wipes the floor with him.

From a historical standpoint, we may be giving Oni too much credit. His primary weapon of choice is inferior outside of the area where he operated in life, and though he does have the Kanabo at his back (literally), we know Nemesis can break through several feet of solid concrete with just his face. So...

Also, the 'martial arts' of the samurai would likely fall short to Nemesis' genetically engineered strength.

    HOWEVER

Since we are taking Nemesis' fantastical origins and existence into account, we must also do the same for Kazan. As a servant of the Entity, we know the Oni is much larger than he was in life, while also being capable of extreme feats of strength even without his explosive bursts of legendary fury. According to his cinimatic trailer, he's heavy enough to make the ground shake with every step. That takes quite a bit of force, even for a man of his size. From this we can surmise that he is absolutely PACKED with dense muscle, strong enough to smash pallets and even completely neutralize a grown human with a single blow. His speed also suggests that all that muscle weight hasn't slowed him down.

Considering that both are immortal beings of impressive strength and stature, I believe the Oni and Nemesis would be a close to even match, at least within the parameters of the Entity's realm.

Well if you want to ignore entity powering oni then you have to ignore mutations for Nemesis aswell. Even then Oni was already Oni, it's his lore. He wasn't toying with them he had plenty of opportunities and failed everytime. I've searched for a kill list for Nemesis and found nothing...proving he is extremely inneficient.

I think Nemesis takes it, regardless of whether he's allowed to use his mutations. His tentacles very much give him a huge range advantage without compromising lethality.

Why should he care about Carlos? Umbrella wasn’t his target, STARS members were. He even runs away from him while mutated just to finish off Jill in the original. Who cares if the UBCS soldier who’s shooting at him lives, that’s not who’s programmed to kill.

As for Jill, he just figured out he could toy with her and did it for too long. There’s several moments in both the original and remake that support him being sadistic while chasing her. Brad in the original was also bruised and limping to Jill before Nemesis finished him off. I don’t think he’ll act like that against Oni since he’s a much stronger opponent than Jill.

well his powers have to be entity given or else he's just a normal dude. He actually became an oni. And while nemesis is absurdly strong Onis would face up against gods which is something I don't even think Nemesis could do.

Canon Nemesis is an absolute behemoth who can walk through brick walls casually without even trying, Oni is a large man with combat experience and melee weapons.

He tries to hit Nemesis just for his parasite to immediately pierce his armor into his stomach, followed by Nemesis picking him up with ease and tearing him in half.

    It's not a contest.

Oni literally means demon. I know nemesis is strong but Oni is literally a supernatural being

Exactly, and so is pryamid head too so he couldbust him up

Both are EXTREMELY strong... and this is probably the closest fight how ever I still think Nemesis would have the upperhand

The Oni, is not actually a supernatural being, he was simply a well trained warrior given the nickname "Oni Yamaoka" because of the mess he would leave behind, he was also almost killed before being taken by The Entity

Nemesis on the other hand, not only has a height advantage, but a weapons advantage. His tentacle, rocket launcher and flamethrower are already reasons why I think he would win this fight, but he doesn't only have that. Its shown that he's able to Sprint at incredible speeds.

Now, I haven't mentioned one thing about Oni, and thats Blood Fury. Oni in Blood Fury would definitely stand a chance against Nemesis if not even overpower him, right?

Here's the thing... Nemesis has a very particular attire and its not for nothing. What he wears is made to limit how much he mutates, meaning if Oni starts beating the crap out of Nemesis, the more and more he's gonna mutate and he'll become even bigger, stronger and faster than he already is.

    Nemesis wins this 100%

We have not seen anything that suggests that DBD's Oni is that powerful, so I wouldn't go that far.

Only thing that pisses me off is that this game doesnt reflect freddy krueger's true power, in dream, freddy is night impossible to beat and mega powerful, ooops what was that? stunned by a pallet.
