How do i use flashbang?
Most of the time the killer can counter this by just turning around and i dont see the real purpose of this, i was wondering if i was using this wrong or something?

if the killer isn't locked in an animation its hard to guarantee a successful blind
if you learn the timing you can try and be creative with it using it around corners so right as the killer rounds them they detonate in the killers face
but even if they look away they are temporarily deafened so you can still try and use that to your advantage

I don't find it worth it to use in most case as a survivor.
As a killer I love them using it. I frequently use Lightborne and it makes them easier to find.

Flashbang timing is really tight and just faking a pick up works well because of how early you have to be there to drop it at their feet.

Pick up anmation - 3 seconds
Time it takes flashlight to blind - 1 second
Time it takes flashbang to explode - 2 seconds
Survivor throws it slightly in front of themselves, keep it in mind - it can be used to save people when Killer is literally facing a wall, just glitching into their model, facing and running into the wall as well and dropping it at the perfect timining.
It's easier to drop the flashbang as they are about to come from around the corner though. Hope it helps.

I drop them for saves when killer doesn't see me, ie around corners and walls.
Killer downed someone upstairs on Ormond and I dropped it on the ground below as they came down.
If you can get to the right hook you can usually crouch down by it and drop it, killer will think you are just blocking/sabo.

I mean, I usually see them dropping the flash. Rofl. I am bad at tracking them, but not THAT bad.
