Tinkerer should only work once per gen
Sadly i have to admit Tinkerer is a very strong perk. Too strong on some killers like Blight. Make it work once per gen so it's still useful but no so opressive. Killers getting to the same gen 15 times because tinkerer worked is just too much value

Tinkerer is fine. If you keep getting pushed off that one gen just go start another gen. Most killers aren't Blight and we shouldn't be balancing perks around the functions of one to three killers.

I'll say sure if when a killer kicks a gen it shaves off 1.5% a kick so when people keep quick tapping it I can remove it from the equation.

Its not fine. Even without blight. Most my builds include tinkerer now just because of how useful it is

Are you running Tinkerer with Gen Regression perks or just Tinkerer itself, because Tinkerer is fine and we shouldn't remove synergy between perks just because it's strong.
Survivors can easily split on gens which makes it very hard for killers to pressure every tinkerer proc and they have tools available to them to help them get gens done faster such as toolboxes and fast track to quickly finish a gen when it has given the killer their tinkerer proc. It's not hard to work around.

I think this would be actually a big hit to the perk (hell I miss old tinkerer just buffing addons). I would put a cooldown on gens, each generator being able to proc tinkerer only once like a minute or two.

5 uses a game would make the perk useless for me and that's if i get each notification with a good chunk of time between the next. Would become extremely easy to cheese out the killers uses, the primary being to make multiple charges go off at once.

I think adding a cooldown to Tinkerer would be a more viable option. Maybe 60/45/30 seconds? I could see good synergy with that and the new Spencer perk that blocks the next highest progress generator when one is completed. Then it wouldn't be as oppressive on Killers like Blight and Nurse while still being useful for everyone.

If you go to a different gen, then the same game starts again with that gen as soon as you get it to 70%.
As long as Killers like Blight exist, this perk will be a problem. It doesn't matter too much if the perk is balanced on other killers, when it's too powerful on certain killers and can make matches against those killers an absolute chore.
I hope they find a way to nerf the perk for killers like Blight but buff it in a different way to have it be more effective on all the killers that it's not op on.
Maybe have it only activate once per gen, but it also decreases the repair speed of survivors by 15 or 20 % for 16 seconds or so, that way killers don't need to have great movement speed to get good use out of the perk.
