Do you use Stridor like ever after Iron Will buff?
For people who were not aware: Stridor used to counter the Iron Will by raising the volume back up to 50% if survivors had IW on. After a patch IW applies multiplicatively so the sound is reduced to 0, meaning that Stridor cannot help here. +50% of a 0 is still a 0 noise, which is actually silly due to coding, because Injured survivors do not make breathing sounds, which results in them being completely silent while injured and with IW on.
Video proof on current patch: https://youtu.be/i-Hs8C0FCys
I think Injured survivors with IW should make breathing sounds. While perks countering each other is a good thing I don't think that one perk should make the other completely useless, especially that survivors bring in 16 perks while killer brings only 4.

No, it's only use was to low-key counter Iron Will
@Fobbo It may surprise you, but decent amount of players used it on other killers to, mainly to counter IW - and it is a huge difference to hear anything and barely something in the jungle gym. But yes, Spirit was like the go to killer for Stridor, I kind of agree.

I never once used Stridor and don't plan on using it any time soon.

@Aurelle While I do understand where you are coming from, I personally give every perk, addon and quirk a shot couple of times just to see for myself if it's really that trash... and to be honest, couple of times I discovered really fun to play non meta thing. But yeah, if you haven't try it before there is even less reasons now that IW is even more broken than it used to be.

Yes
I use Stridor as my "something different" perk when I get bored, and Iron Will isn't complete silence whatever the patchnotes like to say - my primary sense when playing either side is my ears.
Information is information, no matter how little. While a lot of perks have better value, a lesser value is still enough to justify use if you feel like stretching your proverbial legs.

@ElusivePukka I made a quick video for you, because Stridor no longer makes survivors make ANY sounds while using Iron Will.. https://youtu.be/i-Hs8C0FCys

My apologies, I wasn't clear. Pain isn't the only sound, and since Stridor only affects the sounds of pain I mostly have to rely on the shuffle of feet in the rare occasion I see an Iron Will in the wild - which I find more useful in a pinch anyway. What I was internally responding to was some people who have previously spread a myth that other sounds are affected - I don't know how prevalent that is these days, but my engagement with the community outside these forums has dwindled.
To summarize: decent information perk, outclassed by several, but still fun if I'm not sweating; even in the event it gets 'countered'
You're correct in your clarification, my bad, and thank you for your effort.

@ElusivePukka Respectful post, I appreciate. And yes, footsteps and grass moving are helpful a lot. I only with the audio oclusion was not acting up when there is just one inch of height difference.
