Is the Cenobite's Weaker Lunge a bug or feature at this point?

I do not see this is the known issues section on the last 2 patches. It's well known that the Cenobite's lunge does not handle as well as other lunges. This is particularly noticeable when lunging around objects. Is this acknowledged by the devs as a bug? Is this intentional design?

It's been acknowledged as a bug, iirc.

Would probably be the dumbest thing to make it a feature. But I'm guessing it'll be a feature for at least a month, evne though it is absolutely terrible.
