Trickster is broken on PC (rant)
Over the past few days I’ve played against a lot of sweaty PC tricksters and almost all of them ran initial throw rate add ons which imo need changing or a rework. I also honestly don’t think there is any recoil when you throw his knives and if there is it must be very minuscule cause he literally just lasers you from healthy to dying state in no time if he has decent los on you..
Is Trickster a fair killer on PC to anyone? I personally don’t think he is at all.. His recoil should be increased and initial throw rate add ons could use a rework. He’s not very notable on console however due to how much recoil you have while throwing his knives and playing trickster on controller isint very effective compared to M&K..
There are too many situations where If I was going against a decent nurse the counterplay window is there.. Agaisnt a good PC trickster you’re just dead even if you continue to hold W and break los agaisnt a PC trickster he can just spam his knives with very very very little recoil and eventually down you quickly. I can also say that Trickster is arguably better then leatherface for proxy camping unhooks..

Its not that there's no recoil, but much like any other game it's far easier to control and compensate for recoil with a mouse than a joystick

How would you change this without making him worse for console players? That's the problem, if they make him worse on PC it's only going to make console worse, the only way would be if console didn't have the disadvantages that it did and honestly that isn't happening anytime soon.

Dude I’m telling you The Trickster on PC is gross.. You put that killer in the hands of a 2500hr+ PC player with duel initial throw rate and a comp build and you will literally beam survivors down so fast to the point where you need to ask questions..

I would go to PC if I could, but there is zero incentive to, PC players don't have the right to tell console players to just switch to PC if they want things fixed for them. What with how the grind is in this game even if I got all my DLC and cosmetics for free I would rather drop the game then start lvling characters up again. Because I have been playing since late 2017 and I am not planning on switching to PC for as long as they don't have cross progression in the game.

Yes same, I have 4000hr+ on Xbox and untill cross progression comes out I’m not buying a PC. I’ve always had a problem competing against PC, I don’t know why behaviour included PC in crossplay on, it should only be PlayStation and xbox, idrk about switch. PC again can play on stretched res, uncap their frames over 100fps and play on reshade etc.. what does console have? 30-60fps and a controller where forced to play on a lower sensitivity if you want any control especially playing killer..

It's the worst, just trying to make do with what I got at the moment I'm just hoping soon they bring more quality of life changes to console. :(

I find him finaly fun to play after his changes. He is finaly no longer bad killer and he is at least hight-mid tier killer.
I think he is fine. True, his best addons are powerfull but you can say that about most killers too. He doesn't have that much good addons too compare to the rest of the cast.

Consoles can play stretched too. Monitors can have prebuilt filters. Next gen consoles have cap at 120 fps just because they perfectly can not as last gen, doing the same can cause inestability on gameplay. PC can't uncap over 120fps. Console people can buy adapted keyboard and mouse to emulate controlers.
Talking about fps, the only minimun you need in games is 30, any higher number is just for smooth experience and doesn't actually give any advantage.
People decide to either purchase PCs or consoles depending on the money they have and the experience/advantages they want, no one should be punished because others want people in the same low level of gaming enjoyment regardless of how much they spent. PCs always have had sightly more advantage than consoles and you can't be mad or surprised about it.
If you don't want to go against PC, ✨disable crossplay✨
PC people wanna have better queues and play with cross friends too.

Step 1. spread out and hold M1 on a gen
Step 2. If found, take note of the gigantic lullaby and run super early to a high wall loop
Step 3. Run in a circle around that high wall loop for 3 gens.

You say that he is broken but I’ll raise you this match I had where the trickster sniped me while on top of shack with a hatchet through a wall. Hmmmmmm.

I had a teleporting trickster with base instadown who had us all slugged 20 seconds into the game. This was before the buff so I was pretty impressed as you can imagine

Well be careful this guy is targeting anyone who plays stranger things or has their name related to stranger things. Let’s everyone else escape except for you and just bleeds you out. Damn shame he has 100+ hours in the game and only according to his steam comments started hacking recently.

4.4, 40 meter lullaby and having to reload are still glaring weaknesses. Especially 4.4, survivors can run around a rock sometimes and the chase can last over a minute.
