What Is Your Experience With SBMM So Far?
Just a general poll.
The consensus I've been seeing is that SBMM has been a colossal failure, but I'd like to see the Forums opinion.

Sometimes I get the sweatiest matches ever and other times I go against complete potatoes. It’s been weird.

That's fairly similar to my experience.
There also seems to be no difference between my Killers either.

Good. I feel like i've been able to play any killer and have a fair match. I haven't gotten entity displeased in a long time so it feels good. Queue times are longer, but not that much longer for me.

I've been stuck in a cycle of getting camped/left to die on hook, which drops my mmr and means I get left to die on hook even more (since the rank of my teammates goes down).
It's in fun to play survivor. I don't wanna be a killer main (instead of playing both) to have fun.

You actually aren't able to get an Entity Displeased anymore, iirc.

Grades don't mean anything anymore, and I believe they mentioned you aren't able to lose pips.

I made a poll about this, and the most popular individual answer so far is that most people feel they've been matched fairly, but when you tally up all the other answers, most people feel they been matched unfairly (the Killers/Survivors are more skilled/less skilled, the matches are 50/50, the accuracy of the match placement is different for when someone plays Survivor vs Killer, etc.)
Weirdly enough, when it first went live, I had fairly well-placed matches. Then the next time I played, my matches consisted mostly of far less skilled Survivors and Killers, and then there would be one or two excellent Killers (with a mixed bag of Survivors in those matches). Took a break for a couple of days and just played one match today. It was a shitshow. One of the worst matches I've ever loaded into. I thought the algorithm would get better as it collected data, and while I maybe haven't given it enough, it seems to have worsened.

You can lose pips, you just can't go down a grade. You can lose progress towards a grade.
Also they do mean something, how much time invested in that month and it gives bp reward.

Almost universally positive. I especially love just how much all the killers that complained about constantly having sweaty trials are eating their words while I get to reap my reward. It's a nice feeling. Yes, I'm a vindictive #########, just shut up and let me have this. What y'all are dealing with was my norm, only almost no-one cared (except a kind few) because it wasn't happening to them
Sucks that the casual killers got sucked into the mix, though. The Devs really need to address that, it's screwing up everything because it's created a killer deficit. It's essentially like they took the rank system and reversed it.
