Why are there so many hackers now?

Ever since the pinhead update I've gotten at least 5 games where a survivor has been hacking. Happening to anyone else?

From what I understand it's the same general group of people that have been doing it, only started to be noticed when flying hatchet ghostface happened. I guess it's been growing.

My guess is that these players usually stayed around the lower ranks on the old system, but now they probably have high MMR due to always escaping, so they become more aparent for the majority of the playerbase.

Because they can hack whitout getting punish they know the report system do nothing and you need a proof for your claim to be valide and its not like every player stream.

I read that some people start hacking because they are not happy with the game too and they think if they ruin the fun of many player people will quit and this will force bhrv to do something

The problem is not everyone records their game and there is no way to prove that someone is hacking by simply reporting them for hacking without proof.
