Just went against a speed hacker
I will never understand why people do this. I heard maybe because the new mmr system so they can reach a high mmr faster but why, it's lame and corny as hell. This was my first time against a hacker on here.
Is anti-cheat a thing on here? And how well does the report system work.
I'm also on Xbox and them on PC.

Reporting them doesn't seem to have much of an effect.

Yes, anti-cheat is a thing but like most anti-cheats it doesn't ban instantly when someone cheats but at a later date. This is a thing because it can fool cheaters to think that the cheat isn't detected and also makes it more difficult to develop cheats because they don't know if you get a ban or not for using it unlike system where if the cheat works then you cannot get banned. Then there is the cat and mice game between cheat developers and anti-cheats systems.

Along with the in-game Report, you can submit a ticket with the video evidence to Support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
