why do the devs try so hard to add SBMM into the game

it will literally NEVER work in its entire life time its like having tournaments on mario party it just doesnt work this game is RNG reliant, for example if you have the same killer and the same survivors same loadout but one match you have coal tower and second match its haddonfield you will have a tougher time on haddonfield and thats literally a fact, to be honest from recent moves it feels like bhvr is trying to kill dbd which is upsetting because i genuinely like this game i find it fun and unique but you cant get rid of the best thing about the game and try to force unfun gameplay on to more skilled players, as max mmr survivor you dont want to get tunneled every match and as killer you dont want to get gens done stupid fast, and dont use the "they need to know what is balanced so we need mmr" THEY HAVE THAT INFORMATION" if they played the game and listened to the community balance issues would be significantly better.

    So first of all max MMR players don't like playing other max MMR players but not max player should be fine getting matched against them in the old system?

    Also at first you say the game is rng reliant and getting the matchmaking made into a fixed point is killing the game and then say they should balance around rng without atleast one fix point?

    Yep , its ''competitive'' mario party , with faulty ranking , MMR , and a DC penalty .


    When theres 0 competition and MP gaming overall is in a dry spell , what do you expect ? these devs have a monopoly with full control . whatever dumb decisions & bugs , go without repercussion . Only people who think this **** is ok are the people who do not play both sides almost equally at ''high'' play , and most are survivors ; they don't really understand the game . This game is horrid for competitive play.

    It already existed. It was called "ranks", and it was and will continue to be there to try and make sure the target audience doesn't have to deal with sweaty wannabe comp players, or get outrageously mismatched trials.

    Because of they dont show the MMR ranks/stats we cant complain with proof that we have been missmatched

    Even if the MMR is super bad for the game and leads to toxic behaviours
