What killer has the saddest backstory?

The Plague
She just wanted to cure the people she cared for, in the end having to make a pact with the entity.
She seemed the nicest person before this and if any movie were to be made on a dbd killers backstory, this is the one I would want.

The Plague
She sacrificed herself to help her people and she seemed like a kind and caring person before getting taken by the Entity.

The Plague
She would do anything to protect her people. Hell, she even cut off her own toe and tried to use it to appease her god to help a sick woman. Unfortunately in the end, the Entity used the kindness and devotion she had to corrupted her into thinking that it was her God.

Where's Billy? I'd say his backstory is the saddest. Poor guy was locked up by his parents because he was born disfigured. He had to do everything on his own, it was pretty much the world vs. him, since the police officers were against him too.
Being confined in a brick room with your parents barely feeding you while humiliating you, not to mention the fact that you're born with your face messed up.

The Twins
Twins. Hunted and hated literally from birth, only had their mother, then she's killed, then kidnap and torture, brother dies and is still attached.

The Plague
For me it's a tie between Plague, Twins, and Spirit.

The Twins
Twins, Charlotte and Victor suffered basically every single day of their lives nonstop.
Hillbilly would be a close second, then Wraith in third position, Spirit at forth and Hag at fifth.

The Twins
The image of Charlotte carrying around her deceased brother every day of her life is just tragic.
