Long lunge shouldnt hit through DH

Latency aside, if it hits is because the killer predicted your DH and outplayed you.

I mean, it should if the iframes are up and the lunge connects with the hitbox.

Not sure if bait or not. Will remain quiet for now.

no i mean when he misses swing but still hits you because it was a longer one

Then he didn't miss the swing.

The problem with DH is, that since it's omnipresent, every killer expects it. So they time their lounge, to not hit during the I frame.
Solution: take something else, like SB or Lithe.

Heres the situation: i run back at the killer and they swing but then when i dead hard they hit through it with the lunge they missed

That's illegal.

Unpopular opinion: Dead Hard shouldn't give you I-frames. You shouldn't be able to Dead Hard through traps or through the killer or another survivor. David isn't a ghost, he shouldn't be able to move through solid objects.

Contrary opinion: Dead Hard should only give you I-frames. The free distance it gives at a press of a button leaves the Killer with no room to counter it in the majority of cases. It's literally a 'press E to make it to a pallet or vault you wouldn't have otherwise'.
Dodging hits by timing it well requires skill on the Survivor's part, and has counterplay on the Killer's if they know what they're doing.

I frame is fine I imagine it as he evading the hit but going throught traps, surv, killers etc is what piss me off specially distance.

I think that would create interesting mind game if while using DH (a DH that only provides IFrames, no distance), there would be nothing to show that you are using it.
There would be a mind game "is he using DH currently or not ?", maybe that would be unfair from the killer pov.
