Skill Based Matchmaking Thoughts

I've been playing since 2017 and since then there has been games better than other ones but when the SBMM (Skill Based Matchmaking) update was deployed, the game was literally destroyed, for real, I know I'm not the only one getting a lot of hackers and sweaty sweaty gamers every single match and generatos popping every single second even if you are very good with a killer. Personally, I uninstalled DbD until this is removed or fixed, because I don't enjoy DbD anymore, It's a lot of sweat, pressure and hackers and maybe more bad things. I am very very good at killer and survivor but when I'm killer the gens pop instantly and when I'm survivor when somneone gets down, 0 gens are completed. I don't know why did they have to add this, to a casual game, there was absolutely no need to add this because it ruined the game, let's all admit it, DbD it's in its worst phase ever. Hopefully they fix it or remove it, till then, DbD will remain uninstalled in my library and in a lot of people's library. Goodbye, I won't see you in the fog...

Game finally become healthy. It's not clown fiesta now since u don't face babies and actually playing with +/- same skill level players. It's how PvP game has to be. Want to win = play well. I mostly playing survivor and my escape score skyrocket cause i finally play with decent survivors, and my killer expirience improved cause I'm actually learning how to play and facing good survivors not clown fiesta mentioned above.

Yeah, it's really healthy to play against a endless loop of nurses, blights and wraiths. I self sacrifice myself now over 20 times in a row to reduce my MMR.

Now I have again "healthy" games without this meta perks and can enjoy again. I wonder how long...

And what did u expect killers to do? Meet u with flowers? U play well they do same. When u play killer u expect getting some hooks and kills too right? Or u never thought about it?

When i play survivor my match are kinda fun ofc i see a lit of blight and spirit but i like facing them.

My killer experience is awful i play well and the game are close until im put in a mmr that suck the fun out of me then i need to reduce my mmr on killer to have fun again and its a rince and repeat cycle that i hate to do but i need to do it to have fun

Mostly good. I don't miss playing a new killer and getting a sweat squad then playing a killer I'm decent at and getting an urban evasion squad.

To be perfectly fair, this is an asymmetrical game. Equally skilled opponents is a death sentence for a game that heavily favors one side and this game has the problem both ways. At lower levels, killer is utterly broken, and at higher levels, survivor is completely overpowered. Hence why like 95% of people are complaining about it. Hard to find that sweet spot of people like me who enjoy both because the games are more balanced than before.

But he is not complaining about that, he's problem is he is good survivor that doesn't want to face strong killers. So he destroys his MMR.

I was raising my MMR, escaped 7 matches in a row with competent teammates. I died once, sacrificing myself with one gen left to save someone else, and since then my matches have been absolute suck with terrible teammates that do things like crouch around not doing gens, not saving people, and having birds. Whatever is up with the MMR, it's [BAD WORD]ing broken. I hate it. I have died over and over and over again since daring to make that one altruistic play so I could finally finish the Blood Debt Tome challenge. And because I was one pip away from getting to the next grade, now I am many pips away from getting to the next grade. If they're going to make such a [BAD WORD]ing awful SBMM system, they could at least get rid of depipping entirely.

Die once and do nothing but die every time, after. Makes perfect sense.

I think it's amazing, I finally have teammates that can carry their own weight and as killer I get survivors that can actually keep up and not just go down in 5 seconds.

i would love to go against similarly skilled players... when there's so many unbalanced perks in the game that just make it more aids to play.
