Replay system and why it is so important to report cheaters
Current report system is a joke. If you meet cheater you can't just use report button. To make devs ban a cheater you have to fill report form, manually insert your game id and you must add video evidence of cheater doing his things. This is too complicated and impossible to do at all if you are console player. 90% of cheater games are not reported because of that. We need easier way to report people. Replay system can help with that. Replays are just info about players actions which is used by game engine to recreate gameplay moments so they are not require much disk space and easy to make. Games like dota have it and first it is very useful for you to learn your mistakes and second it can help to make easy reports. You just press report button and devs will have your id and game replay so they can decide if person is cheated or not.
Also remember Evolve? it had cool map overlay on end game screen so it quickly shows you player movements. It's harder to make in dbd because of map RNG but im sure it's not impossible. Would be nice to see that feature in the game along with replays.
Please, make ingame report buttons do something and use replays instead of players recorded footage to make reporting easier and help players to improve their skill

I know this system from PUBG and World Of Tanks and it was great to learn from your mistakes. As well as to see if it was just latency what screwed you or if you encountered a cheater. In PUBG you could also see what others did in a 1km radius. And that was with 100 players. Dbd has 5 players so it should be manageable.
It would be a real QOL upgrade for consoles and older PC systems who can't record themselves while playing or people who don't have a lot of space on their drives. (an auto delete function after 7 days/1 month would be great)
I think this would help a LOT.
