No variety on 'high MMR'

I've been reading lots and lots of post where people are complaining about 'high MMR' and how only few killers and few perks are viable at 'high MMR'. Yeah... so?

I don't know, is this the first game you play on higher level? I've been giving my MTG experience as an example - when I was playing tournaments I also had to play meta cards, meta decks. Sure, I was able to incorporate my 'techs' to counter something, but like 90% of what I was playing was absolutely meta. When I play with friends then we can have fun, play fun thematic decks, angels vs demons vs vampires vs werewolves, something that would never work in a tournament, but it's fun in a friendly environment. But if you play competitively you have to play what's best, what do you expect? Every set that comes out has good, mediocre, bad and complete unusable trash cards. Same thing when they do perks - some are good, some are mediocre, some are bad and some are unusable in any way. It's not a unique trait of DBD - that's what every game (with customizable 'powers') has.

I honestly think there's no way to balance the game in such manner, that everything (or even majority) is viable on high level. Maybe it should be, it definitely would be more fun, but if you have Nurse that can ignore basic mechanic (walls, lol) or Ruin that gives you constant gen regression it makes much more difficult to come up with new stuff that could compete with that. Perks are kind of like cards in card games, again, every set has meta, fun and trash cards and that's how perks work basically, there are perks you can use for fun or on low MMR, but you want to sweat... I don't know what else to tell you. Sure, they could do some tweaks to killers, buff some weak ones, but still - there will always, ALWAYS be the one that's the best and is the best choice if you're going sweat mode.
