Reporting is the bare minimum you need to do for the mods to know where to start. It's like being robbed and refusing to go to the police because you "don't want to do their job for them". They're not psychic, they don't know what you're seeing in your trials.

You need to report people in the game and then send additional evidence to support, you can do that here https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000942011. Reporting them in any shape or form is necessary though, just like it is in general in most areas.
