Deathslinger is okay
yeah man Deathslinger, Always had a hard time playing as him. Decided to pick him back and have been doing pretty good. Better than i have been doing. I have some question though.
1) Are his attacks over vaults harder to hit? I've missed a few which in the past i don't think would have missed before.
2) Why are survivors reeled in on the side? I assume it's because their moving, but why do they always end up reeled in on the side when their in fully reeled in? Why no just put them in front of you? It kinda bugs me not gonna lie.
Yeah i edited the post since i didn't like how it was worded.

even though you baited Decisive Strike discussion i agree that perk is also okay.

If by angle you mean survivors moving to the sides, it's them doing that to make it harder for you. If you walk backwards while reeling you will limit their horizontal movement while reeling at the same rate.
Deathslinger, as most 110% killers, is very oppressively in chases. His problem is the lack of map pressure he has. My usual strategy when facing one is to just focus on generators since by the time he does his reeling in, reloading, catching up and patrolling survivors get more than enough time.

Balance-wise he is indeed fine, but I would say that he is one of the most boring killers in the cast.

1) always put them on the middle of the window to never fail.

Was he buffed at some point? It seems like he can walk all the way around pallet loops now after shooting somebody and still have time to hit them before the chain breaks.

he can certainly perform the most infuriating leap to hit a survivor on the other side of one though.
I have no idea if he has been buffed in anyway though.

DS = Deathslinger / Decisive Strike

Ds bait thread. Just can't tell if it was intentional or an accident lmao

I was ready to talk about how DS is better than okay. Didn't realize it was Death Slinger... Yeah... Okay is how I would describe him.

If he has the purple chain add on that makes it harder to break then he has potentially more room to swing around a corner. I never got slinger hate. Simply using los blockers is going to massively hurt him in the chase.
All this crap about boring to play against sounds entitled as all hell. This expectiation that slinger should be designed with infuses on traditional ranged gameplay with big indicators and giving survivor room to dodge despite having a high skill ceilling on an ability with a range limitation, single shot capacity and requires two hit downs is baffling.
Then you have the indoor maps that always threaten to destroy any ability for you to use your power. I dont like a lot of slinger threads because they always tend to have this tone of he needs nerfs, he needs counterplay. when there is so many limitations in his kit that allow him to be able to quickscope his targets.
