Do my eyes deceive me ?
Is that a PIG BUFF ?
We don't do that around these parts. You're supposed to nerf her BHVR, she's too OP.

Oh but that isn't all, mon ami~
We got good ######### commons too! Yeah, it requires them to fail a skillcheck. But this is way better than the ######### they had before.

Blasphemy
The apocalypse is nigh. Pig has been buffed, end times are approaching.
3 -
There's still room to make them active 👌

Pig is dead, long live the pig :(
In all seriousness, I'm loving the hype that all this is bringing to people.

Ehhhh, I wouldn't call this one any better than the current Interlocking Razor (except the rarity).
New video tape seems really strong, though.
0 -
Interlocking Razor should be base-kit. Failing skill checks is nearly impossible.
1 -
What even is this add on...i'm not ready for this 😥
0 -
You call that a good common? When, literally ever, has anyone failed a jigsaw box skill check? They're default, they're unaffected by skill check perks, and this only works if they're injured. Absolute best case scenario this triggers because they had to get off the box because you were nearby in which case who cares about deep wounds, they're injured near you, whack them.
2 -
Does she lose traps in her inventory, if not, why wouldn't you run this?
2 -
Yea this is what I want to know on that iri one. Otherwise, survivors spend 1-2 mins searching boxes at the start of the trial and then you have no power the rest of the match? :/
4 -
I would expect she would start with zero traps in her inventory. Its also Iridescent, so of a rareity where you cant use it every game.
0 -
I'm so excited for these Pig changes!
EDIT: If this is the iri of new Video Tape... does that mean we're gonna get a potential buff to Pig's ambush and crouch!?
0 -
This addon is going to be nuts on solo queue. I'm already seeing that Claudette who took the trap off on the first box popping a gen while the other 3 still have theirs.
0 -
That all sounds way too legit lmao
0 -
Reminder, a stupid, sarcastic and dumb joke, could be a potential improvement to the game in their minds.
so, careful with jokes.... at BH aren't that....smart.
0 -
I am just guessing here, but I would IMAGINE that if she did lose them, then it would say so in the add-on description.
1 -
Think of it this way, if you chase someone off a box and they fail their skillcheck, you can happily leave them while they have to mend *and * their hat keeps counting down.
0 -
Yo imagine this with Huntress' lullaby
0 -
Yeah, because when I'm picking add ons for my match, I'm thinking "what if 17 different things align, and one person in one game happens to get a skillcheck at the right time and gets DEEP WOUNDS!"
No, I'm gonna chuck on anything that gives a slight buff to the ambush or any global benefit to the traps because it's actually something tangible that affects the match.
0 -
It slipped through the QA team. Interns, am I right? They will fix it before the PTB goes live.
0 -
Fair, but I have like 300 iridescent on some characters, so that really depends on the player
0 -
It says nothing about starting with 0 RBTs. If Ruleset No. 2 stays, those two add-ons combined on RPD will be NASTY.
0 -
If the description is right she does not lose the traps. If she lost the traps this would just be a meme common addon. Instead it's a busted iridescent addon, and the thing is that it replaces an ambush addon wich makes me thing that they will buff her basekit.
0 -
I actually hope they change the Ruleset No2 because it's kinda bad and would only be good in combination with this already busted addon that is good by himself.
0 -
Thats cool but...who the hell misses a jigsaw box skillcheck? The damn things are the size of texas and they won't let us use any perks that effect skillchecks on jigsaw boxes so.....no its still technically trash.
Unless....they actually revert those changes bringing back skillcheck builds.....
Ehhh pppfff nah, they'd never add variety back into the game who am I kidding...
1 -
That would double her traps, and place them on at the beginning . Wow, that would be strong. And the pig would know exactly where to start looking for survivors. Unless they chose to rush gens until someone is in chase. But Wow, seems strong. I'll say it backwards...woW!
0 -
On the flip side, it could pair worth Rule Set No 2 nicely.
0 -
Hmm do we know if Rule Set No 2 still exists after this? Or is it replacing Amaanda's Letter?
0 -
Good point. Personally I've wondered is RS#2 shouldn't be base kit.
0 -
Either way I’m really excited about the add-ons for Pig now.
0 -
if pig lost all of her traps at the start to give them to survivors instantly wouldn't that just make her power useless?
like you might have a better early game, but if it goes end game then your just a woman wearing a pig head.
0 -
If I go against this and some dodo teammate does a gen before traps are off I will vomit from pure rage. Especially on RPD.
0 -
Yes ofc! That's what we wanted for years! Change some stuff, mix it up! And if changes are well received keep them!
Pls do more for the future don't stop here

Where you got that Screenshot from btw?

Still 100x better than the current addon, and 10x more likely to be triggered than the current addon. Let alone that it's no longer a high rarity addon.
0 -
We'd love to have this amount of changes every update and for sure we do try our best to get as much in a patch as possible - however, this time we luckily had extra bandwidth so we were able to do this, that can't be guaranteed for every single patch.

"10x more likely to be triggered than the current addon"
How? Am I missing something?
0 -
It's hyperbolia, it's not 100x better either.
But if I am going add some logic: this addon has actually some reason to be grabbed from the bloodweb and thus has more reason to be selected as a filler addon to use if you dont know what you want to use.
Let alone that the effect applies instantly, where the other effect never really did anything useful at all. Even with Tampered timer, you could miss 40% of your skill checks and still get your trap off. While with the current effect, you would recieve a deepwound when injured. Not only giving you the indication where someone is, but also that they are deepwounded and cannot simply hide. Missing a skillcheck before was at best a small setback, missing a skillcheck with this addon is gamechanging.
Still not great unless there is another addon that actually makes it more likely for survivors to miss skillchecks. Like reverse skillchecks.
0 -
It's not hyperbole; as far as I can tell, it's just straight-up false. Unless I am mistaken about something, nothing about the new Interlocking Razors makes it more likely to trigger than the old Interlocking Razors. If anything, it's LESS likely to trigger because in addition to the failed Skill Check, the Suvivor also already needs to be injured.

Where did you find that?

In a far away land, where dreams can become reality.
Also known as twitter.

Ah, yeah I don't have Twitter.
0 -
Me neither. But there is that tweets by DBD window on the right side of forums here where I get my info from.

I'm guessing that's a pc thing. Mobile version doesn't show that.
0 -
Oh yeah I think so. Mobile version is really limited with size from what I remember.

If a gun is buried underground, never used by anyone, can it still be triggered? No. If a gun is constantly being touched, but has a safety mechanism on it, can it still be triggered? Yes.
Is a gun that can be triggered, more likely to be triggered than a gun that cant be?
0 -
I have no idea what sort of comparison you're trying to make. Just speak in blunt terms, please.
