Deathslinger should not of been nerfed
they change his ADS and increase his terror radius and then they think making him walk faster was a good exchange??? they act like the speed will still make him a strong killer but now he really is a weaker versions of huntress

That's what I was saying. no one cares about how fast he walks while aimed down.
edit: it might not be that bad, but it is still pretty stupid they did it.

I guess it's a good thing to address frustrations of going against him and buff him in other aspects if he needed it. Too early to tell. We don't even know how slow or fast he moves at ADS and he has some add-ons that go along with his ADS speed buff.

Weaker version of release-state trickster, rather. The increased TR in combo with the still low speed and the aiming delay made holding W a legit and super effective counterplay.

They gave him his weakest addons basekit that nobody used - wanted poster & jaw smasher.
And all it cost is 32m TR so that survivors can hold W the moment he comes near, removing quickscoping to annoy the hell out of slinger players and M2 cooldown so that you don't try to use his power too much, you might have fun if you did.
Ahh if there at least was some serious compensation for such big nerfs but no, you walk faster doing something you're not supposed to be doing at all of you're any good at slinger.

Judging by how they've buffed movespeeds during power usage in the past, he'll move at 4.0m/s at the absolute highest.

The normal terror radius while being 110% alone will kill him. Early running is a massive weakness to him. The "wait until ADS" won't be that impactful if you just hold M1 to fire as soon as possible, but the cooldown nerfs will. Many talk about DS using it to bait survivors into loosing distance, but it's also great for lulling survivors into a false sense of security before you go for a shot for real. Nerfing mid-range killers is unacceptable in general.

Going from experience:
That's irrelevant if you take away the quickscoping and give the M1 hits a bigger delay. These two things were (plus his smaller TR) what made him strong in chases.
Now he has nothing, even if the addons bring him up to his full speed (110). Not to mention if you MUST use such addon something is badly designed.

Clearly you don't know DbD very well yet. That's not going to happen.
I don't even think they will increase the speed to the level he can currently have when using both ADS movement addons, and every deathslinger player knows how bad those two are.

windows are probably going to be a little tougher now, but i dont think the movement while aimed was any better.

As I said about the Spirit nerfs, the standard is no longer a killer being overpowered, just "unfun". For survivors, that is.

funnily enough that is exactly how those that gave him a bad name usually play him. These changes only punish those that tried to play him well

Not even. The increased movement speed is only during ads, not to his base speed. He'll be a 110-M1-killer, a laughing stock.
