NOED and Boon totem. how to cleanse a totem now?

I haven't returned to the game yet but i guess there are players who are still using NOED.

I got used to cleanse every totem on the map to avoid it completely. with this Boon totem, i understand that the killer can't break totems. therefore it doesn't prevent the survivor from going back to active it again.

cleansing a totem now can be pointless if we have this perks on us. i don't know if this is going to be a big deal against NOED, but that would be pretty annoying to run around dull totems to find NOED. or to cleanse every totem and get angry comment from survivors saying i didn't help the team doing that. i wouldn't be happy myself if whenever i want to use this perk sometime in the match but then find that all the totems are gone.

So how we are going to play with totems now?

    Any dull or Hex totem I come across I'm still going to cleanse, I'm not getting hit with NOED because someone brought a totem perk. If a survivor is running a boon totem a killer just needs to go over and snuff it just before the last gen pops (or they close hatch) so it's dull when exits are powered and can become NOED. Since survivors can't destroy a blessed totem a killer could potentially choose their NOED location so even more reason for me to cleanse all the totems.
